The 9th edition of the ICC T20 World Cup has begun and all the fans are excited. Of course, fans are rooting for the blockbuster face-offs of teams like India, Australia, England, etc. But let's not forget that associate nations are also participating apart from full member countries. And we also need to keep an eye on those matches. Hence, I am starting this new series where I will talk about all the high points like new records, unusual things that happen during the match, and trivia and facts about every match. USA Likely To Create History Tomorrow If USA Vs Ireland T20 World Cup Match Is Washed Out The USA is most likely to qualify for the T20 World Cup Super Eight Round in its first ever ICC World Cup after a fresh flood in Florida City with more warning of heavy rain. The USA is in second place in Group A below India and needs just one more point to make it into the Super Eight round of the T20 World Cup. The USA vs. Ireland T20 match is to be held on June 14th tomorrow at Lauderhill, Florida, at 8 p.m. (IST). Italy, Brazil, Canada and now the two-time world champions have fallen at the group stage of the 2023 Women's World Cup. To have just one of these contenders bow out early is somewhat of a surprise. To have these four nations fail to reach the knockout stages is an unprecedented shock. However, it is also a sign that the quality of women's football across the globe has never been stronger. In the first World Cup expanded from 24 to 32 teams, we are witnessing the largest number of early upsets. Teams that had never been able to qualify for World Cups in previous condensed formats are now toppling pre-tournament favourites as a drastic shift away from the game's traditional strongholds is taking place. We now have a Caribbean nation, three teams from Africa and a potential emerging new force from South America comprising the final 16. The second round of the world cup has never had a more global appearance with six continents represented.
