Professor Jhunjhunwala is a Member of National Academy of Engineering (NAE), USA and a Fellow of IEEE and the Wireless World Research Forum (WWRF). He is also a fellow of the four S&T academies in India, namely- INSA, NAS, IAS, INAE. Prof. Jhujhunwala was conferred the highest civilian Honor- Padmashri. Prof. Jhunjhunwala is considered a pioneer in nurturing the Industry-Academia interaction in India towards R&D, Innovation and Product Development. He conceived and built India's first university affiliated business park - IIT Madras Research Park (IITMRP). I am very proud of my team following a very successful Day 1 of RemaxWorld Expo in Zhuhai China. I cannot be there in person, for the first time in 16 years! Many other westerners cannot either. Nevertheless, Day 1 got off to a good start with exhibits and the summit. There were 14 winners announced today for the Annual RT Imaging Awards. Thousands of nominations were sifted through by 12 judges. Some of the winners included Aaron Leon from LD Products, Clover Imaging Group, Bob Moore from Katun Corporation and Itek Solutions India. A big thanks to Glenn Diamond in the USA for announcing the winner of the Diamond Pioneer Award—our most prestigious award named after his late father, Art Diamond. This year the recipient was Zhu ShuangQuan the founding Chairman of the Hubei Dinglong Chemical Co., Ltd.
