All-In Cincinnati is actively executing our 5-year strategic plan, currently, 90% complete, focusing on the PAYING aspect as a crucial part of our youth advocacy efforts mentioned in the March City Council Meeting. This push for paid internships and apprenticeship programs is in the #economicmobility strategies outlined in our plan. We aim to provide young Black girls in Hamilton County with the necessary resources for their growth and success. Our Immediate Goal: We’re actively seeking partnerships with local community organizations and business owners who offer paid internships and apprenticeship programs. Our focus is on creating tangible opportunities that not only provide financial support but also nurture the potential and aspirations of our young Black girls. What do you say to hundreds of 13 and 14 year olds about careers? This week I did my first school assembly as part of my voluntary role as Enterprise Advisor with The Careers & Enterprise Company Luckily, Experian has an epic Early Careers programme so I had lots to tell them about apprenticeships, placements and our grad scheme as well as how we make a difference for our customers and clients every day. The students are just about to pick their GCSE options so it’s a great time to get them thinking about what they might want to do next.
