One of the questions I have in my mind always is : What will I do if the demand for Salesforce decrease? Will I be able to transition to another tech stack and survive? But the major advantage with Salesforce is that you have a lot of transferable skills. Here are some of them: - Starting with the Business flow. You would know the phases of business , lead generation , opportunity follow up , closing the deal , customer service even in your sleep which is not the case with a normal full stack developer. - Front end skills. If you have worked with Aura or LWC you are as competent as any front end developer out there. LWC relates more to the modern web development frameworks. - Backend skills Apex, Async Apex, API integrations all these make you a well defined backend developer. - Configuration or low code skills In Salesforce ecosystem it will always advised to pick clicks over code to avoid the technical debt( optimized solutions should definitely be a decision factor). - Architect skillset You could always grow the architect skillset and transition to an enterprise architect - Consulting skillset If you are in consulting then stake holder management and other consulting skillset can be your superpowers Is there anything I missed?
