Director & Senior Recruitment Consultant I Property, Design, QS, Development, PM & Construction industry I 0415 194 515
Do you need any #temporary or #contract staff to get you through the next month or so? It's not too late to fill those gaps - especially with budget constraints and team members gearing up for a holiday to escape the winter! Temporary or contract staff can help ensure it's still "business as usual". With no regular hours or entitlements required, temporary workers for roles such as Assistant Project Managers, Development Managers, Tenancy Coordinators, Project Managers can be beneficial. At Prime Recruitment we have a pool of candidates that can help manage the workload for the short term. Alternatively, if you need a specific skill set, contract staff are a great option to consider to help keep a project moving at the required pace to meet your deadline. They can be the perfect addition to your team across various projects and can be engaged for as long or as little as you need them. Contact me today if the team at Prime Recruitment & Consulting can help. Kylie Jasinski kylie@primerecruit.net.au

Project managers and contractors are currently facing one of the toughest hiring markets. As a result, projects are suffering because of the lack of dependable and stable staff. Aspects that are crucial for the success of any job! Searching for the right employee can be a waste of time and energy IF you heavily rely on that employee to deliver for a project. If you have been searching for weeks and feel the applicant pool feels like a dirty swap rather than a fountain of perfect applicants, it's time to shift your sourcing process. What you need is to tap into a qualified and vetted applicant pool. Access to qualified employees will save you time, money and energy when hiring and training them because they are well-equipped and ready to hit the ground running. To tap into this pool, head to the Inselec website and select our 'HIRE TALENT' tab. #projectmanager #team #staff #staffingagency #recruitment #recruitmentagency

Tech Recruitment Manager @ Brightwater | Ex - Agile Project Manager | Ex - Service Designer | Ex - UX Researcher
How to ensure you complete a comprehensive recruitment process in 2 weeks? Hire a great Project Manager AKA Recruiter. Last week, I ran a poll and got a strong response, with hundreds of participants. The expectation from the vast majority is that a recruitment processes should complete within 2 to 4 weeks. A Recruitment Process is essentially a project, there are risks and potential issues that can impede progress, and can cause organisations to miss out on top talent. The best recruiters I have come across are BRILLIANT PROJECT MANAGERS. They are constantly solving problems, navigating issues and expertly dealing with 'Moments of Truth' (credit Greg Savage) Reminder: Brightwater Tech are 'Best in Practice IT' for 2 of the past 3 years 😎 😊 #RecruitmentEfficiency #ProjectManagement #HiringProcess #TimelyRecruitment #TopTalentAcquisition #ProjectManager #RecruitmentStrategies #HRInsights #TalentManagement #RecruitmentSuccess #MomentsOfTruth #StrategicHiring #EfficientRecruitment #HRBestPractices #BrightwaterTech #ITExcellence #BestInPractice #HRTrends #RecruitmentInsights #QuickHiring #OptimalStaffing #ProjectLeadership #StaffingSolutions

Recruitment can be hard.. but it can also be rewarding when you see your team rise to the challenge. Today Renae Howe had two candidates who were at final interview for a position and both were so strong they are creating a role for both candidates- that’s quality sourcing and vetting through targeted executive search. This client hated agencies (I’m not even kidding) and now we are flying to see them this month in Sydney after we will have filled four roles in 3 months some of which were vacant for 6 months prior. Sancha S. filled some critical positions on a project recently awarded in Toowoomba and now the client has all the key roles in place prior to contract signing. The Safety Manager called her and personally said how impressed he had been at her process- that’s quality workforce planning and recruitment. Some say recruitment is not rocket science but when I see the team get results like this I have to start to wonder. Well done team 👏👏👏 #engineeringrecruitment #consultancyservices #executivesearch #projectresourcing #specialistrecruitment #casestudies #rocketscience

Senior Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Professional, skilled in Direct Sourcing and Candidate Attraction. Strong Functional Knowledge, across Professional & Financial Services, As well as Consumer, Retail, FMCG & Media
Nice post Georgina Blaydon. Although, I look at it the other way round, asking what sort of candidate comes out of what size of company? We looked at this a lot, when I was in executive search, as it helped shape company target lists and the thinking behind them. Not least of all because there's a direct link between how big a company is and the candidates' actual breadth of experience. As a senior search professional once said to me, 'large companies make ordinary people, look better than they may be'. The rationale being, that bigger companies have many people, doing what would be done by one person in a smaller entity. That's not to say that one is better than the other, but rather that each brings a different profile of relevant hands-on experience. To echo another post today by Lee Harding, this is where a 'Skills based' approach becomes so important, as one's looking at what a candidate 'has actually done', is far more informative than 'where they did it', or for 'how long'...... Have a nice day everyone.
A senior role in your business may be an associate level role in another‼ Every company has his own DNA - Culture, values, structure, and operational styles all contribute to company’s individuality. Even businesses within the same industry can be totally different. But what does this mean for candidates? When exploring new roles, candidates need to be open-minded about the structure of the new business. Experience, salary, and job titles may fall within different bandings. You might be a Senior PM in your current role, but your salary and experience may be more in line with an Associate PM to other companies. It may also go the other way, you may be a Senior PM now, but your salary and experience may align more to a PM role in another business’ structure. Keeping an open mind and having a willingness to learn about the different structure will help candidates select the right company for them. Even if during the discussions, they decide that a particular structure isn’t for them. #companystructure #newcompany #recruitment
