June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate diversity, and inclusivity, as well as highlight the ongoing fight for equal rights and opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community. We are proud to stand with and support the incredible work of Mermaids, a charity close to our hearts.
Mermaids is dedicated to supporting transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse children, young people, and their families. We believe that embracing and empowering all members of the trans community is crucial for any organisation, regardless of the industry. This is why we are honoured to fund Mermaids’ local group activities, which create a safe space to celebrate and uplift the community.
Jo and the Thornicroft family have felt the benefit of the amazing work of this charity first-hand. The care they have provided, and their unwavering support have been a huge help and immeasurable comfort in such a turbulent and troubled time. We strive to support them, as they have us, in the hope they will be able to continue their important work and care for other families just like ours.
