"We all experience moments of nervousness and fear; these emotions are intrinsic to the human journey. However, what truly matters is the course of action we choose in response to these feelings. Rather than allowing ourselves to be overwhelmed, the key lies in the deliberate and constructive decisions we make in the midst of adversity. When confronted with the challenges that evoke nervousness or fear, it's crucial to approach them with thoughtful consideration. Instead of being paralyzed by these emotions, we are encouraged to proactively address and navigate them. This perspective underscores the potential for personal growth and development that arises from confronting and overcoming discomfort. In essence, the quote serves as a poignant reminder that experiencing emotions is a shared aspect of our humanity. Yet, the essence of our character is revealed through the intentional and purposeful choices we make in the face of uncertainty. It encourages embracing challenges with courage and taking decisive actions, fostering not only resilience but also personal empowerment."

When stress starts knocking, take a breath. Pause, acknowledge the feeling without judgment, and break it down into manageable steps. Identify what's within your control, focus on solutions, and remember, you've conquered challenges before. Embrace the power of perspective, prioritize self-care, and recognize that overcoming stress is a journey, not a sprint. With each intentional step, you not only tame stress but emerge stronger on the other side.

Here are three lessons that if you take them to heart, your stress - and those around you - will be much less. While African Elephants are not “tamed”, they can help us with our personal search. Humans have been around for around 377,000 years. African Elephants have been here for 1.5 million years. They know a few things about life. Here are 3 lessons from the African Elephant that can change our lives and could change our needy world. https://youtu.be/j_nJ3zjZhus ”Just ask the animals, and they will teach you”

It can be difficult not to consider yourself 'crazy busy" when every email & task is made to seem urgent. However, as long as you know your timelines even crazy busy is productive and doesn't always mean you are in fight or flight mode. The term crazy busy in general can merely be a geographical term for meaning very busy.

Unfortunately most people don't earn an emergency dokters salary. So together with working very hard an going home to a full household, where you can't afford a cleaning lady, gardner, plumber, ... Most people don't just have "crazy days" but live in a constant crazy state just to get by from day to day ... That is what makes this ted talk a bit naïve ...

A lot of good sense here. However, a lot of people wear being “crazy busy” like a badge of honor. If an ER doc can figure out how triage I’m sure many of us others can too.
