👀 Where are all of my Healthcare, Community & Social Services Job Seekers at? REGION: GTA SECTOR: Hospital Networks Here are a few positions that I stumbled across while doing my regular job-posting internet sleuthing this week that I thought would be worth sharing, but more importantly not a waste of your time to check out. Please note that all positions have been vetted (by yours truly) as current & active on the company's corporate careers page, and are aligned with reputable/respected/world renowned organizations in the area. Remember that the application process can be tedious, and a relentless pursuit. It's not as easy as just firing off 47 of the same resume day-after-day. You really have to figure out what sets YOU apart, and how do you stand out amongst a sea of competition, and AI generated resumes & cover-letters? The job market today is harder to navigate than ever before, as far as I'm concerned - especially for young people & new-grads! Give me a thumbs up 👍 if you found this information helpful, and throw a comment down below if you're planning on apply to one... or ALL of the positions below 😜 https://lnkd.in/gd4nA_WX Clinical Clerical Assistant - Trillium Health Partners https://lnkd.in/gnsbpCuT - Administrative Assistant - Respiratory Therapy - Mount Sinai (Sinai Health) https://lnkd.in/g6fhYtJe - Administrative Coordinator - Staffing Office - Unity Health - Providence https://lnkd.in/g7GFFPtP - Clerical Support Associate - Cardiology Clinic - Humber River Health https://lnkd.in/gZUukPWd - Program Administrative Assistant - Capital Planning and Redevelopment - Trillium Health Partners https://lnkd.in/gR8-ARFW - Patient Administrative Associate - Emergency Department - Sunnybrook Health Sciences (Listen, this one is a little older, and has had a tonne of applicants - it's probably not worth it to apply at this point ((applicant pool is too saturated)) but maybe consider roles similar this one in the future). We were tasked to find a Medical Office Director for a specialty medical clinic in Atlanta. Finding the right candidate for the Medical Office Director role demanded a nuanced approach. The role encompassed a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from overseeing administrative operations to ensuring high-quality patient care. Finding the right candidate required assessing their qualifications and experience but also evaluating their personality traits and aptitudes to ensure they are the perfect fit for the role and the clinic's culture. One effective tool in evaluating candidates is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a widely used personality assessment tool. Understanding a candidate's MBTI type, allowed our team and the client the ability to gain insight into our candidate's preferred work styles, communication preferences, and leadership qualities. For instance, a Medical Office Director should ideally possess traits such as strong organizational skills, empathy, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Identifying candidates whose MBTI profiles align with these traits can significantly increase the likelihood of a successful hire. In addition to the MBTI, we used aptitude testing to provide valuable insights into the candidate's skills and abilities relevant to the role of a Medical Office Director. These tests can assess critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership capabilities, among other competencies. For example, a candidate with a proven track record of strategic planning and financial management may be better equipped to handle the operational aspects of a specialty clinic. However, it's essential to recognize that while personality traits and aptitudes are important indicators of a candidate's potential success, they should be considered alongside other factors such as experience, qualifications, and cultural fit. In addition to the testing, we took each candidate through a series of interviews before the final interview with the CEO of the clinic. Ultimately, recruiting for a Medical Office Director requires a thoughtful and thorough approach that takes into account both the tangible skills and intangible qualities necessary for success in the role. By leveraging tools like the MBTI and aptitude testing alongside traditional assessment methods, we were able to identify two top-notch candidates who not only have the right qualifications but also possess the personality traits and capabilities needed to excel in this demanding position. The CEO was quite pleased with the entire process and very happy with her choice of Medical Office Director!
