Hello, My life partner recently wrote a song BAN THE BULLET with Grammy winner Bob Morrison. It was her song that inspired my screenplay- BAN THE BULLET which has been awarded Best Screenplay in ten festivals. Here is a recent LA review: "The premise of this story explores several powerful themes, including the impact of trauma, interracial relationships, gun violence, toxic masculinity, and LGBTQ+ identity. The central message is one of resilience in the face of adversity, emphasizing the need for societal change and acceptance. These themes are delivered with a mix of subtlety and directness, allowing viewers to engage with the narrative on both emotional and intellectual levels. The characters' experiences and challenges serve as vehicles for conveying these themes, making them relatable and thought-provoking." I know you will love BAN THE BULLET. I can email it as a PDF attachment. My email address is gogometsy69@gmail.com. You can hear the song/video on YouTube- search- ban the bullet spivey. I have permission to use the song, and it is part of the screenplay. I am seeking a producer or agent or manager. I am open to an option. Salvatore Klezmer Riggio

Storytelling isn’t just a form of entertainment. For George M. Johnson, writing has the power to change lives. The award-winning Black non-binary author was named to the TIME100 Next, TIME‘s annual list of rising stars, and Out’s 100 Most Influential LGBTQ+ People. Their New York Times bestselling memoir, All Boys Aren’t Blue, is a powerful recounting of George’s adolescence growing up as a young Black queer boy in New Jersey. In this quote, George emphasizes the incredible power of storytelling, and how it opens paths for others to live their life more authentically. In talks, they illuminate issues that Black queer people still face today—like toxic masculinity, LGBTQIA+ policy and law, and intersections of oppression—and how these issues play out in communities on the ground. With honesty and openness, they show us how we have the power to create a world where all young people are free to be fully themselves. Today, we celebrate Chella Man, a deaf, transgender, Jewish and Chinese model, painter, performer, producer and sculptor. Chella is an activist and speaker, sharing their insight on the intersection of disability, race, gender, and queerness across many public forums including TEDx, DC Public Library’s Celebrating Pride, the Tamron Hall Show, and the keynote address at Penn State’s Pride Month celebration. Across a multidisciplinary practice, Man emphasizes joy as a tool of activism, a defense against harmful discourses and exploitative practices imposed on disabled and trans communities. Rather than centering struggle or trauma, they foreground pleasure, abundance, curiosity, and care as a radical path forward. Much of Man’s work is shared through publicly accessible social-media channels, allowing them to circumvent the typical tradeoffs and buy-ins of mass media to reach a broad audience. Man populates the media landscape with abundant depictions of an empowered self, proudly fluid and deeply rooted in resilient communities. #DisabilityRights #Pride #LGBTQHistory
