...It's the one mistake all founders make. The vision is not complete. You're spread across so many different activities. And you're always onto the next thing. I'd like to say that we're different and that we didn't fall into that trap. Truth is, 8 years on, celebrating still doesn't come naturally. It's not that we don't want to or that we don't enjoy it. It's because the body of work isn't done. We probably won't be satisfied until it is. But we know how it is important it is for everyone concerned with KYM to do it. Celebrating creates energy and morale to help build foster positive work environment. Celebrating acknowledges all the efforts with or with or without the achievements. The practice of celebrating not only rewards those involved but also sets a standard and provides motivation for the team to be as good as it can be. Celebrating doesn't stop at the good stuff. There's plenty to celebrate in our failures too. The biggest reason to celebrate for us is making people feel like the belong. Whilst it may still be in our personal development plans, we have awesome people around us that keep us accountable to it. That in itself is something to celebrate. 👋From Tim Mart #knowtheteammore #celebrating #celebratingthesmallwins #celebratethesmallthings #belonging #connection #workplaceculture #workplacebelonging #leadership

📸 Captured another gem at Buc-ee's Building a phenomenal culture starts right from the moment you step foot in the parking lot. What message does it send to potential talent when they see signs like "we care," "we've got your back," and "why wouldn't you want to work for an amazing company that values your and compensation?" Culture is all about being transparent and trustworthy in what your brand stands for. If you claim to be a family-oriented organization, you better live up to that promise as a guiding principle. If you boast about having the world's cleanest bathrooms, I better not find a cleaner one anywhere else on this planet! Where many organizations stumble is thinking that the words on the walls or the principles framed at the exit are enough to cultivate a collective purpose. False! It's the ability to consistently live up to those words that truly makes a difference. #OrganizationalCulture #Transparency #Trust #CollectivePurpose #Buccees #ExceptionalWorkplace #dreambig

October is Global Diversity Month. Rooted in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which was adopted after World War II, the Declaration represents the first global expression of rights to which all human beings are inherently entitled. It is essentially an acknowledgment that we should understand and respect the value of every human being, regardless of their nationality, color, race, sex, gender, country of origin, language, or otherwise. At Culligan, we welcome people of all identities and work to ensure each person has the tools they need to be safe, respected, valued, and successful. Our inclusive culture embraces the many dimensions of diversity, going beyond visible differences. We actively seek to understand and learn from one another’s experiences, empowering all to contribute unique ideas, challenge norms, and be authentic. By cultivating a diverse workforce, equitable workplace and inclusive culture, we leverage the varied skills and perspectives of our people to drive innovation, better reflect our communities, and create positive change within and beyond Culligan. #GlobalDiversityMonth #EqualityForAll #Diversity #Culligan
