HNY! The US labor market & economy has officially sharted and I seriously doubt an election year will change anything...it might make it worse. The American dream has turned into the American scream. How you living? Do you disagree that this is 'hold my beer' territory? If so, prove me wrong two ways 1) By providing living wage job opportunities that actually pan out and 2) Comments from your own personal journey; but before you saddle up on your high horse to comment, do know that a) I have applied to 1540 jobs on LinkedIn alone in 8 months time b) I work FT but do NOT make a living wage https://lnkd.in/ecNSbghm Historically, it is almost like looking into a mirror: Great influenza 1918-1920, Great depression 1929–1941, FDR's new deal timeline 1933 and 1938 (focused on three general goals: relief for the needy, economic recovery, and financial reform), "In the short term, helped improve the lives of people suffering from the events of the depression. In the long run, set a precedent for the federal government to play a key role in the economic and social affairs of the nation." "Taft was the leader of the Republican Party's conservative wing; he consistently denounced the New Deal as "socialism" and argued that it harmed America's business interests and gave ever-greater control to the central government in Washington." "The New Deal programs did not end the Depression. It was the growing storm clouds in Europe, American aid to the Allies, and ultimately, U.S. entry into World War II after the bombing of Pearl Harbor that revitalized the nation's economy." "Some parts of the New Deal worked; some did not. it restored a sense of security as it put people back to work. It created the framework for a regulatory state that could protect the interests of all Americans, rich and poor, and thereby help the business system work in more productive ways."

Not bad. 0 to 10k I would put it at 0. Then 15. 20. 25. 30. 37. That's how you can mitigate the cost of inflation.

#fridayfeature "Every Rejection is a Redirection" We often see rejections as failures in which we also mirror ourselves. Did you experience being rejected by your clients, workmates, boss, and family members? If you answered yes, remember that a lot of us experience rejections every single day from the time we wake up until we sleep. We always feel that we always need to reach our own and other people's standards for us to be successful. In reality, when we do not make realistic expectations and when we didn't get the approval from other people, we will always bound to be disappointed and we feel that it's the end of the word for us. But that doesn't mean that it's the end of the line. Rejections are part of lifelong learning process we need to experience in order for us to know the best right step to never repeat our mistakes again, to improve better than yesterday, and for us to go to the best right path for us that will eventually lead us to our best right path and people.

Strong leaders take risks by asking questions and admitting when they need assistance.
"The simple rules in life. 1. If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. 2. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. 3. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same space." #DailyThought #Quote #Fullfilment
