Keeping a sanitary grow is critical for crop success as well as a cannabis business’s bottom line. Here are three sanitation tips for cannabis cultivators: 🌱 Regularly clean and disinfect equipment. That includes trimming scissors, pots, pruners, trays, and any other equipment that can be used from plant to plant. 🌱 Keep the grow area tidy. Pick up any foliage debris, dead leaves, etc. Sweep and disinfect floors regularly. 🌱Monitor humidity levels. High humidity encourages mold growth, which can lead to irreversible disease issues. 🌱 Maintain proper ventilation. Stagnant air can also lead to mold growth. 🌱 Regularly inspect plants. Careful scouting practices can spot disease issues early. 🌱 Test your air. AirAnswers has developed a powerful tool for testing the air within a grow room, which can then be sent to a third-party lab to detect microbial problems before they are visibly present. Visit AirAnswers.com to learn more.

The potential for product bans poses significant concerns beyond the immediate business impact. Local stores, beyond supplying products, play a critical role in educating consumers, ensuring informed choices about what they're consuming. A ban could not only harm businesses but also affect community access to safe, regulated products, potentially driving consumers towards less safe alternatives. This highlights the need for balanced regulation that supports public health, safety, and informed consumer choices. In our quest for innovation, history often provides valuable lessons. Take Radithor for example. As early as the 20th century, it was hailed as a miracle cure, and is said to provide strength and health. But here's the catch - there was nothing but radioactive water! 😱 The effects, as you can image, were horrific, causing severe health problems and in some cases death. Radithor teaches us the importance of rigorous research, transparency and responsibility for consumer welfare. While our journey is fuelled by creativity, it is imperative to infuse scientific research, ethical considerations and an unwavering commitment to safety. At inewtrition, we aim to channel our innovations into products that truly improve lives, backed by real science and a commitment to consumer wellbeing. Radithor stands as a poignant reminder that innovation without accountability can go down dangerous paths. #foodinnovation #lessonsfromhistory #innovateresponsibly #fnbindustry #foodindustry #foodbusiness #foodinnovation #productdevelopment #futureoffood

Doctors vs. Farmers? The Real Winner is Food (and Collaboration) Remember those high school debates about doctors vs. farmers? We were so sure one had to win. But what if the real win is in collaboration? But as I've grown and no longer confined by classroom walls, I've realized it's not a competition, it's a collaboration. Doctors and farmers aren't rivals in a competition for "most important." Think about it. Doctors heal the sick, but who nourishes the healthy? Farmers are the silent heroes who cultivate the very food that fuels our bodies and minds. Without them, the best medical advancements are rendered meaningless. And the flip side? Farm-to-table isn't just a fad, it's a necessity. The food we eat directly impacts our health, our well-being, our very ability to fight disease. Healthy soil, sustainable practices, and conscious farming choices are the foundation for a world where doctors have fewer patients to treat. So, let's ditch the debate and embrace the collaboration. Imagine a world where doctors prescribe locally grown produce alongside medication, where farmers understand the intricate link between soil health and human health. That's the future I want to be a part of. A future where "better" isn't a competition, but a shared goal. A future where doctors and farmers stand side-by-side, not as rivals, but as partners in progress. What about you? Are you a doctor, a farmer, or simply someone who cares about the food on your plate and the health of your community? Share your thoughts on how we can bridge the gap and build a healthier future together. #DoctorFarmerCollaboration #FoodForAll #FoodForThought #HealthierFuture #NourishingTheFuture #IAmProudToBeAFarmer

Are we focusing on the wrong things as a society to address our health issues? Do we really believe that medications and surgery are the primary care needed to address what is turning out to be foundationally a nutritional deficiencies? Think of us like a plant…a farmer sees the plant struggling to survive/reproduce, has yellowing leaves and insects all over it. The Modern agriculture responds with chemicals to help fight off infection or chemical fertilizer to boost production, or cutting off the bad parts. Yet a careful farmer asks, what is going on in the soil and what does this plant need to thrive? Maybe we need to be the careful farmers of our health and ask what is causing our plants (our own bodies) to not be thriving? I think we would come to the same conclusion in both analogies…that the state of our soils are a direct causation of the health or disease of plants and individuals. And the more we abuse, neglect and ignore our opportunity to be better stewards of the soil, directly and indirectly, the more disease and suffering we will experience. “The doctor of the future will no longer treat the human frame with drugs, but will rather cure and prevent disease with nutrition". Thomas Edison's https://lnkd.in/drrPpZQD Here is a good article about some great work making these kinds of links between soil health and nutrient content of foods.

https://lnkd.in/g7E5G7nC The high incidence of ADHD and Alzheimer’s that has accelerated over the last 2 decades combined with the high cost for fruits and vegetables is enough to convince most that it’s time to grow your own vegetables. I believe 100% in my heart as I was going through University training that manufacturers lied to us telling the industry how contacts do not absorb into the plants and that only systemics have that capability. This is not true. Synthetic funigicides and pesticides have the ability to cause health issues whether they are contact or systemic. I and my team are on a mission at Banner Sales And Consulting to help people grow better using microbes and newer soil amendments that are game changers! From small personal gardens to massive acreage we’re doing what’s right as an unprecedented number of family farms disappear leaving only big corporate farms to feed the world. Buyer beware when buying vegetables from the stores. Know where it’s coming from or you might as well be best to eat frozen dinners ever night instead.
