Look at this picture carefully! It’s a very precious photo, one that won’t be forgotten for decades. She is Smriti Singh. She lost her husband at a very young age. Only five months before his death, she had married Captain Anshuman. At such a young age, she has paid a huge price for our country. This picture holds the cost of our nation’s security, a cost Smriti paid by losing her husband. On July 19, 2023, a fire broke out in the Indian Army bunkers in the Siachen Glacier. Soldiers were trapped by the fire. Among them was Captain Anshuman Singh from Deoria, UP. Facing death head-on, Captain Anshuman entered the burning bunker, saved four soldiers, but lost his own life. Captain Anshuman was posthumously awarded the Kirti Chakra. What about Captain Anshuman's parents? Didn't they lose their only son? There are many things we are unaware of, including the distribution of the pension amount. His parents didn't even get to see his Kirti Chakra. So, don't post it just for the sake of views to glorify the medal. My Country #INDIA lost its brave son, and we are upset about that.
And what about his mother you haven't written about her. She lost her son. What about the sacrifice of his Mother and father who lost his 25 year old son. Everyone just wants like, share, towards their post. So the content is fixed that will make emotional people and they like your post.
Why next king is wife ? Why not mother and father ? If wife living in husband home for her remaining life with children and take care mother and father then it's OK, but if she left husband home and get another marriage then what about mother and father ? Who will take care of mother and father ? Big losses are mother and father only. They loss his son, money, no one behind him to take care in his old age. They only losses. But in other other side wife get big amount of money, get another marriage on base of big amount which he get from defense, lifetime half salary as pension and enjoy remaining life with new husband. First it was the narrative of a young officer dying while saving others and the officers wife and mother receiving the award. Second, narrative was then to interview the wife and ask her about how she met and felt about the death. Now the narrative is evil daughter-in-law and distraught parents fighting over the benefits. Unfortunately in all this the sacrifice made by the officer is lost as, media and also the influencer community decides which narrative to run with. It’s seems that an extra ordinary life is being marred by very ordinary act’s by the people he loved 😞
What about the parents of the soldier they also lost their Son, but no one is taking care of them they are the reason behind a successful journey of the Captain but all the benefits will be given to his spouse because of 5 months marriage what about the number of years given by the parents to their Son so that he can serve for his country, this is a system glitch in our government, rules should be change so that parents also get the benifits.
As I saw on the TV news, she left her husband's home and never contacted them. I believe this prize should be given to her husband's parents, who gave birth to that brave army man.
Story is not over yet...capt abhimanyu, kirti chakra his father requested Indian Army to change in the law of NOK ( Next of Kin) ..as he told to times of india that their daughter in law took away all the entitlements and financial grant provided by the Army...she left their home ....father says " we have our Son's photo frame and garland on it only. " I pray this must not be happen with the martyrs parents. We have a huge respect for soldier's utmost sacrifice and for their spouse also who lost them.
Its sad and god shall keep him(Anshuman)alive in all hearts and we shall be proud of his great and unforgettable matrydom.....

4dThe sad part is not a single person is talking about his (Anshuman's) mother. This post is that simple to understand. No matter how innocent she (his wife) is or how brave he (Anshuman) was. The rules of giving an award must be changed. When it is a matter of sacrifice, then parents (specially mother) come first always not the wives. If you don't agree I don't care. The important thing is Government must take care of these kind of big achievements of parents.
