On Sunday, June 2, over 2,000 cyclists participated in the 52nd Annual Bridge to the Beach Bike-A-Thon in support of the American Cancer Society. Amongst the 2,000 cyclists were two of Ocean’s team members---Hugh Turner, CFO and Cassie DeDomenicis, Warehouse Attendant. Hugh has returned for his tenth year and Cassie for her sixth year, both committed to raising funds for cancer research. What started out as a physical endurance challenge, soon became a more personal way to honor and support family members, friends and colleagues who battled cancer. Starting at the Ben Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia and cycling 67 miles, both crossed over the finish line in Ventnor at the shore. Waiting for them, were a team of Ocean volunteers, who began the day early in the morning setting up the finish line in anticipation of welcoming and cheering on the cyclists.
Go Hugh! Sorry I missed it (just kidding)!
Excellent. Congratulations !
