Did you know that support for Microsoft Windows 10 will end on October 14th, 2025? The end of support for Windows 10 means no more updates or patches will be realeased by Microsoft, which can leave business systems exposed to emerging threats. Additionally, software vendors will gradually cease support for applications on Windows 10, which could lead to compatibility problems. Transitioning to a new operating system is both a technical challenge and a significant financial and operational undertaking. Businesses must consider hardware compatibility, software reconfiguration, and potential downtime associated with the migration. Budgeting for these changes is crucial as it ensures that all aspects of the transition are financially manageable and strategically timed to minimise disruption. Planning for a new operating system, however, extends beyond mere budgeting. Since the #Microsoft #Windows 10 EoL date is 14 October 2025,many Organizations are starting to upgrade endpoints to Windows 11 (Joined type) and rely on Entra ID with #Intune management and compliance. This will add some challenges to how Cisco ISE Authenticates/authorizes an Entra Joined Device using #EAP-TLS. You must upgrade #Cisco #ISE licences from Advantage to Premier if you want EAP-TLS for Corprate Endpoints or TEAP for both Corprate User and Endpoint. Upgrade to this license to integrate ISE with Intune, especially for Authentication and Authorization of Corporate Joined computers. (You can depend only on Entra ID User AuthC & AuthZ , not endpoint, if you do not want to upgrade to Premier.)
