I’ve heard many jobseekers get nervous when they are interviewed and asked about their previous salaries and/or their expectations about the salaies they should be offered.. Her are 3 things you should and shouldn’t say…. 🤔 You Shouldn’t Say I accept..! You Should say, thank you for the offer. Please email me so I can review and get back to you. You Shouldn’t Say I currently make x salay, so I was hoping for at least that..! Should say, based on my unique experience, achievements, and current market rate, I am looking at a role that pay x salar.. Is that within your range? You Shouldn’t Say that the salary is too low given the cost of living in this area. Should say, given my role-related accomplishments and the fact that I plan to make similar contributions and impact right away, can I get my salary colse to x..? Best of luck 🤞 #employment #jobhunt #interview #interviewing #jobhiring #employeeexperience #employeeexperience #interviews

" RECRUITER WILL WORK FOR FOOD" I love food. I'm a foodie. Food drives me. I'm all about food whenever I go to a party or an event. I love bringing food to the office for all my workmates whether it is Food brings people together and it helps us build relationships with one another when we break bread with one another. It helps us get through the day to meet our project deadlines with a little bit of sweetness or savory. Food allows us to take a time out when things feel stressful. 🍗 Food indirectly helps me with my performance meeting KPI's 🎂 Food provides me a metrics roadmap to success quarterly and annually 🥑 Food helps me close the deal Food brings people together because 🍪 I bring people together🍕 Food helps me build relationships with one another 🌮 Food helps me get through the day to meet my project deadlines with a little bit of sweetness or savory.🥗 Food allows me to take a time out when things feel stressful For the last year, employers ask me what my salary expectations are whenever I apply for a job. I had to really think about what drives me. My worth. What's fair. So I stopped asking for six figures. So today... "Recruiter Will Work for Food" 🥗 🍗 🎂 🍦 🐟 🥕 🍪 🍌 🍞

Christian Resume Writer & Career Coach✝️ 2X Influence Digest Top Coach of 2024✨ With passion & empathy, I help clients elevate their careers via strategic career planning, enhanced resumes, and faith-based coaching💡
Want to kick fear in the booty in your career? 💪 Once I was afraid, I was petrified.... TRULY, I dreaded interviews, salary negotiations, performance reviews, etc., but one day I pondered what would make me feel better and more confident? 💡 The answer? Data. 📈 Once I started presenting data to back up my achievements, salary requests, and job title requests, everything changed. Imagine being on a special diet, and you go to a restaurant for a nice night out and nobody can tell you the ingredients in the food. No matter how you ask, you just get generic answers. Think of an interview / performance review / sales call the same way. They want to work with you (dine with you), and they ask the questions that would make THEM feel confident about working (or dining) with you, and you simply beat around the bush saying beautifully worded answers with no real facts to back it up. 📚Once you start researching salaries, presenting your quantifiable results, and practicing articulating these stories- data will bring a whole new level of confidence to your game! 📣 PS - Data is what makes my resume clients have responses like these!!

Some organisations call for tests/interviews and after that, they realised that the expected 25-30% increase in the candidate's salary (which is the norm, don't know who sets it) is not within their budget. It is a complete waste of time for the candidates. I think Human Resources Managers have plenty of time to waste. Also, Organisations prefer people with low salaries, they don't care about your skills. When you hire new talents smarter than you, problems become easier to handle. However, in the media industry, nobody wants smarter people as people who are working in mid-senior positions have a fear that "Kahin Ye Mera Patta Na Kat de". If I talk about myself, I have always been a top performer in every company. I got appreciation from Editors but never got a good hike in salary or promotion as I was always the youngest in the team. I am 25 and after working around 7 years in the industry I feel like my career is stuck and I should do something else. #Media #MediaJobs #MediaIndustry
