Biotin-PEG(3)-ATFB/Biotin-TEG-ATFBA/ Biotin-triethylenglycol-(p-azido-tetrafluorobenzamide) has been used as photo-cross linker (Lamda max = 258nm) in estrogen receptor studies and for direct surface coating of carbon and organic based polymers. Biotin-triethylene glycol-(p-azido-tetrafluorobenzamide) is a versatile compound that combines the affinity of biotin for avidin, the flexibility and hydrophilicity of the TEG linker, and the reactivity of the azide group for selective bioconjugation through click chemistry.
