Wonder & excitement are in the air as LJ in the USA heads to Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity this month! 🦁 Established in 1954, Cannes Lions has grown into the premier global event for creative marketing and communications. The inaugural festival was held in Venice, Italy, moving between Venice and Monte Carlo in its early years before settling permanently in the iconic location of Cannes, France, in 1984. The festival takes inspiration from the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, sharing not just a location but a dedication to celebrating creativity and excellence. Inspired by the film festival’s success, Cannes Lions was created to honor exceptional advertising and creative work. Today, Cannes Lions is the most prestigious event in the creative marketing world, attracting thousands of attendees from across the globe from industry leaders to innovators and visionaries all to network, learn, and celebrate the best in the business. Highlighting some of the greatest advertising of our time with previous LIONS winners; "Dumb Ways to Die" by McCann Melbourne for Metro Trains in 2012 and “Like a Girl" by Always (P&G) in 2015.
