Last week, our LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group hosted a charity quiz night in our Glasgow office, in support of Time for Inclusive Education (TIE). Thank you to everyone who took part. It was a really enjoyable evening, and it was great to see the collective commitment to inclusivity from our staff and stakeholders, all whilst raising money for an important cause.
We had a lovely evening at the Just Like Us Awards 2024 in London, celebrating the achievements of so many inspiring young people. We are happy to be working in partnership with Just Like Us in a cross-border initiative to end homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in schools. A two-stage professional learning course on how to effectively deliver LGBT Inclusive Education is now freely available for teachers in Scotland, provided by the Scottish Government. After completing both stages of the CPD, teachers will: • Know how to meet the national expectations for delivering LGBT Inclusive Education • Have access to a bank of guidance and resources • Have started planning their own inclusive curriculum • Understand how LGBT Inclusive Education can be tailored to meet the needs of your unique school setting Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g4TYcWrS
