This country is warped and statistics tell you everything.
40.1% of voting population are so disillusioned they didn’t even turn up to vote
Labour represent 35% and hold a majority whilst 65% voted against Labour but hold very few seats
Reform got 3.9 million votes and got 4 seats, liberals got 3.4 million but got 61 seats.
Reform held 16.9% of voting turnout whilst Labour held 35% and yet one has four seats and the other has 410. How is this representing people. This is a flawed system and shows how corrupt the media aligned with this system really is. Proportional representation would have seen at least 104+ seats for reform more than the liberals and half of Labour vote.
This is why 40% don’t vote at all - because the system is floored or people are just so disillusioned by the this country they see no need to.
My son voted yesterday and he thought he was voting on who would be in power - local and regional voting systems are dated back to when there were lords of the manor and peasants only had a right to express themselves in that area. Britain is digitally connected and people should be voting for a house that represents the voting population - it ensures we all get a say. Instead all those votes that cry out to be heard are now silenced by a left wing minority
For Sir Keir Starmer, the hard part is about to begin. Here are some of the significant events and challenges facing Britain’s new prime minister in his first 100 days in office. https://on.ft.com/4buwpXd
The United Kingdom has faced various challenges in recent years and whoever becomes the Prime Minister this year will need to address them.
Unfortunately, these challenges are complex often toxic and interconnected.
They will require a strong focused Prime Minister (with an equally strong team around them) to be addressed
The challenges around this are discussed in my latest blog.

🎶🎺 Denigration's what you need if you want to be a Prime Minister. 🎶🎺
The late, great Roy Castle would be turning in his grave to be so clumsily associated, by me, with what we are witnessing at the moment.
This is not what we want to see in our country's future Prime Minister, and yet it seems to be all the main political party leaders can do. Attempts to demonstrate that the others leave more red traces than they do. To do so only serves to demonstrate that they are not worthy of any leadership position, let alone that of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
The damage that is done when leaders denigrate others is enormous:
🔴 It sends a red ripple throughout organisations which is irreparable.
🔴 They are vicariously giving others permission to do the same.
🔴 It demonstrates a lack of trustworthiness.
🔴 It illustrates a distinct lack of character.
🔴 It breeds the behaviour of 'consent and evade' in your team and throughout your organisation.
Constructive, healthy criticism is expected, indeed it is to be welcomed. But to leave swathes of red traces through constant negativity and attempts at point scoring seems like a race to the bottom to me.
Be very careful what you say about others, that red ripple is highly likely to wash over you and take your reputation with it.

Is the only action that will sort out our politics & our politicians a People led Revolution.....???
Having a General Election is only going to ratify that the people of the UK are happy with the way our country is run.........
Well, I am not and I do not want another General Election to keep the Status Quo. The Status Quo being -
(1) The House of Commons - Needs to be innovated
(2) The House of Lords - Needs abolishing
(3) Ability to say something and then not carry it out as promised
(4) Not answer a direct question
(5) Have Un-Elected Prime Ministers in number 10.
This all has to change and quickly. Yes, the UK is on its knees due to bad Governments, but also due to our inaction & acceptance alongside the lack of innovation in processes and systems within Government
By voting in General Elections we are, by proxy, giving the rubber stamp to the Status Quo.....
So, the choice is very simple - its only two scenarios
Scenario 1 - A party comes forward and promises to change the system that is broken, outdated & not fit for purpose...... Then there is a viable alternative to vote for in a General Election.
Scenario 2 - The public of the UK are forced to revolt.
Its over to you Westminster

Jackie Long, "Rishi Sunak is saying things that are simply not factual, isn't that a worry, coming from a Prime Minister?"
Theresa May, "He's delivering for the British people"
When a former PM cannot be honest and sincere about a current PM, what does it say about the quality of political leadership in the UK?
Always remember people: 70% of politicians, and bureaucrats, globally, do not really care about what you want to see change.
Whether you vote left, right or center, it's just different shades of the same colours.
Know this and know peace.
Very few countries are blessed with great visionary leaders. And they are not where you expect them to be. e.g @ Dubai, Oman, and China. And yes, China.
(Just don't over criticise these guy's publicly. Lolz)
China has been the most impressive nation. You can actually see their dictators adjusting innovatively in real time to economic changes.
We are supposed to dislike these guys, right? But the quantitatives, the numbers are saying the opposite.
Most politicians over promise and deliver almost nothing e.g Canada- where 90% cannot afford to buy 500k CAD to 1.5 million CAD homes.
The most overrated region right now will be Western Europe and Canada. Unaffordable homes, over regulation, high P multiple taxes (pensions can help reduce them for PIT) and frustrating business environments.
I actually don't envy these two. Lolz
You can see their governments are bent on shutting down any innovation.
At least the African ones are mostly clueless on the simplest things: from subsidising large scale consumer and for-export production, to deploying abundant cheap CNG-powered mass transits buses.
But these ones, on the other hand (Canada and Western Europe) are just viciously self-sabotaging their companies and economies.
If you are able to take $200,000 to Western Europe, you will be broke in less than 1.8 years.
In 1960, Europe had 35% share of the global GDP...Now it has less than 15%.
For Africans where are your best innovative future partners?
It's really coming out strong as the US, India, the Gulf states, and China, you just feel it. The numbers do not lie.
FYI: Almost all the gulf states have ZERO taxes.
It's oil? Well, Norway has same oil and collects PITs.
Of course Europe is still a proximal market for agricultural products and natural gas.
You just get these feeling that Western and Central Europe is too organised, too over regulated and too slow to innovate.
It's reputation doesn't not come anywhere close to it's real numbers.
With the 3 hottest months on record over the summer, and August 2023 being 1.5 degreees hotter than an August pre-industrialisation, any diluation of net zero commitments stands as a betrayal to future generations. Sarah’s points here are well made and the UK Govt must recognise the critical juncture we are at.
