2moI think in particular, the idea of a separate analytic platform has always been odd to me. The effort (and chance for failure therein) of "moving" instead of "flipping" is always understated when discussed in meeting rooms. In reality, these CDCs you must employ never work as seamlessly as the theory. It's hard to beat shared memory for manipulating data....and if not parity with the fastest analytics platform, for most, what's there is good enough. And parity is perhaps only one community contribution away.
