We're hearing from a lot of organizations that are striving to be the "employer of choice" in their industry/area. We also know that WHAT people value at work is changing, especially (but certainly not exclusively) for younger generations of workers. Question: What has to be there to make work "worth it" to you? Is it schedule flexibility? Mission alignment? Remote options? Room for advancement? Something else? I'm so very curious about what you have to say here.

Redefining the boundaries of office real estate with brand-led hospitality for dynamic companies. Award winning Podcast Host of The Caleb Parker Show & Misfits Mindset
It’s official! #BrandMatters in the future of work But does the future of work = the future of office? Channeling my inner Dave Cairns with the green check mark, I’d say that’s a yes! What do people want in the future of work? 1) We want to choose companies that are purpose led. 2) We want to choose the work vibe that feels right to us. And though we don’t “need” an office, we want one sometimes. But not that pre-2020 office… -We want to feel taken care of. -We want a cool experience. -We want to leave feeling successful. That’s why my Brave Corporation Ltd. Cofounder, Ian Minor, uses the term brand-led hospitality for the work place. Thank you Sofia Stolberg for the opportunity to be featured in your Forbes piece, to share our version lobby culture to move the conversation away from “office” and to experience. Super cool to inspire the title for your article, as seen on the Brave website 🤩 Full article in the comments below

Flexible working may be here to stay, but getting people back into the office more often than not remains non-negotiable for many agency and media company bosses. But it's a tricky tightrope to walk and a divisive issue: Can you mandate returning to the office three days a week – or more – and not start a riot? In part two of our evolving world of work series, we asked those who have successfully hit an in-office default position – CEOs at Akcelo, This Is Flow and Pedestrian Group – to explain their approach. You can find part one of this series here. Aden Hepburn Jimmy Hyett Matt Rowley

Founder @ IPaintMyMind | Corporate Art Curator & Community Leader | Artist & Consultant | Fine Art, Experiential, & Brand
The equation for liking your job has totally changed. It’s gotten a lot more practical, real, & personal. Colleagues kids invading Zoom calls, family logistics reworked, and a fresh face to the employer/employee relationship. But all we want is for work to be a part of our lives, as opposed to the entire thing. That’s why offices need to be cooler & teams need to be agile, both of which prove that location is more about workflow, process, & collaboration that just clocking in. Companies that… 1. Embrace art in their office & culture 2. Help employees engage outside of the deliverables of the job, and 3. Give back to real causes that create a sense of mission beyond the logo… … will all have the upper hand. Art, connection, community. We need them across our entire lives to be healthy, happy, & productive. Luckily, employers seem to be getting the memo … slowly. #workplacedesign #workplaceculture #employeeengagement #employeeexperience #officeart #corporateevents #companyculture

Hello LinkedIn Family, This picture shows two different stories. You might be thinking it represents two different places or stories, but what happens if I said these are not different stories? This is just the mixture of a bad work culture with a good office culture. Office Culture is the heartbeat of our collective efforts. It's the sum of the dedication, synergy, and commitment within teams, departments, and the entire company. It's what propels us forward and underlines our shared success. On the other hand, Work Culture delves into the individual experiences we encounter daily. It's about the relationships we build, the weight of our responsibilities, and how we treat each other on the same level playing field. It's paramount to recognize that while Office Culture is the backbone of organizational achievement, Work Culture shapes the very essence of our professional lives on a personal level. The way we interact, share the workload, and treat our colleagues plays a pivotal role in fostering a healthy and productive work environment. Let's strive for a workplace where both Work Culture and Office Culture align harmoniously, creating a space where collective achievements flourish, and individual experiences thrive. #WorkCulture #OfficeCulture #ProfessionalDevelopment #TeamSynergy #LinkedInFamily

There is a place for "Work from Home", the collaborative environment remotely is NOT the same, learning from others remotely is NOT the same, mentoring remotely or being mentored remotely is NOT the same. It will be interesting to see where we end up. This article is a great perspective and has a number of great points to take into consideration. #workfromanywhere #worklifebalance #futureofwork
