“I love my team the most! Getting to work and collaborate with the creative minds on the social team has always been my favorite part of my role. Monster growth for our agency also means monster growth for our staff, and congratulations are in order for some names and faces you all might be familiar with ❤️ Whether client or creator, you’ve probably been in chats with these three legends: 👑 Influencer collaboration extraordinaire, our Giulia has been promoted! You’re now looking at Sticki’s new Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager, who’s personally worked on so many campaigns and brand partnerships, you couldn’t even count them with all your fingers and toes and other limbs! 🏆 Next up, Ashley has been promoted to a Strategic Partnerships Manager role, and we could not be prouder. A talented TikTok superstar herself, Ash’s brain is behind loads of our best work — because you can’t bring content masterpieces to life without knowing the audience and the platforms inside out. 🎖 Our very first Sticki intern is staying on for good. Lara is officially our new Strategic Partnerships Executive, and doing such a killer job, we can no longer imagine the Sticki HQ without her! But to be fair, her skills were evident from day dot, and we love when a creative mind has such a way with data too. This year’s already been huge for Sticki just 32 days in, so stay tuned for more exciting news we cannot wait to share. From new clients to new services and a growing portfolio of work, nothing would’ve been possible without a team like this 🎯 #employeeappreciation #newroles #influencermarketingagency

My greatest accomplishment occurred in my current position as Digital Marketing Assistant Manager. I managed to use my practical experience in the client's digital marketing campaigns, helping Western clients tap into the Chinese market, especially reaching the most complicated Chinese audiences. 2. Social Media Manager| I empower startups and small businesses to elevate their brand presence and realize their ambitions through strategic and impactful social media management| Virtual assistant
My First Social Media Manager Role As I embarked on my first social media management job, the mix of excitement and nerves was palpable. My initial task involved collaborating with a diverse team, something new and unfamiliar to me. My first interaction with a client from a different cultural background was a defining moment. My experience became a cornerstone in my professional development. The client's understanding and collaborative nature not only eased my initial anxiety but also sparked a deeper interest in social media management. This role taught me invaluable lessons Openness to different perspectives fuels growth. Also, kindness in communication bridges gaps, turning challenges into opportunities for learning and connection. As I continue this journey, I invite you to share your experiences of overcoming initial challenges and the insights gained along the way. #SocialMediaJourney #DigitalMarketing #CareerGrowth #DiversityInTech #MarketingMinds #SocialStrategy #BrandBuilding #ContentCreation #ProfessionalDevelopment

Vice President @ American Express | Caring Leadership Expert, One Size Does Not Fit All 💚 Anti-Guru. All my views are my own, not representing those of my employer.
If this post reaches it’s intended audience, it might not get any engagement. Visible engagement that is. Why? Because this post is dedicated to the many “I really like your posts” IRL commenters I have met this past year. Many different versions of genuine excitement about my posts from people who “know me” despite us never having met before. You know who you are. THANK YOU! Because while you are not liking or otherwise visibly engaging with my posts, you are doing something that is so much more valuable to me: Reading them intentionally and thinking about them. All by yourself. Some are even applying ideas I have shared. Please know, it’s OK that you aren’t comfortable showing your engagement here. As long as you will keep reading, I will keep sharing. And if you do feel like “liking” or commenting - great! That will help my content to be seem by even more people. You do you! After all, one of my most important messages is: ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL 💚! Here’s to meeting many more of you in real life - where real relationships are taking place! ♥️ #BeACaringLeader #OneSizeDoesNotFitAll PS: Feel free to 👍🏻like, 💬 comment or 🔃 share if you are comfortable. Business Director @ Run Deep | Sport, entertainment + social | NLP Practitioner | Passionate about high performance for teams and elite athletes
After a big win in 2023, I was tasked with building a team of 10 social experts to service one of the biggest sports accounts at my former agency. Challenge accepted! At its core, social media is about building communities, so here are 3 of the lessons I learned in the process of hiring new team members to join me within the existing social team. ➡ Skills are still and always will be transferrable Diversity of professional experience and perspective benefits both the account and team. Pivoting requires determination, self-awareness and hard work. Applicants who bring those qualities, unique skillsets from other industries AND the ability to build a social community will elevate the account. ➡ Having an opinion sets you apart from other candidates Social is an ever-changing landscape. There are always new platforms, new trends etc. To stand out from the crowd on social, we need to challenge the norm. A unique opinion can therefore have a big impact on the strategy. Be bold and share yours! ➡ Be passionate about something. Anything! I love seeing people’s faces light up when they talk about their passions. They understand the impact it has on them. If the task at hand is to build a community of like-minded people with a specific passion, that understanding can be critical to its success. I’d love to hear about others’ experiences building teams! What are the lessons you have learned and how have you balanced account, strategy and content team members? #socialmedia #sportsmarketing #buildingteams

Executive Creative Director | Creative Leader | Creative Strategy | Creative Coach | Campaign Asia 40 Women to Watch 2021
Does putting a value on your impact/services make you squeamish? This feels like an especially difficult topic in a tight labour market, but it comes up in almost every coaching call I have, especially for women, so I thought I'd share the things that helped shape my view about negotiating and why you need to get better at shaking off the squeamishness. I was in my first role at Colenso BBDO for close to seven years. I loved it and was fortunate to have a boss who was always proactive in rewarding my work and impact. When I made the difficult decision to leave, Managing Director Brent Smart gave me the gift of confidence by ensuring I knew that I was worth more than I thought and encouraged me to negotiate for more in my next role. This taught me a few things: 🤑 I was negotiating to my level of confidence, not my level of skill and value to the business. 🤑 The importance of negotiating a rate from the outset that I'd be happy with for the next 1-2 years. 🤑 To look at the overall value exchange of the role? It could be just about the money, but throughout my career, I have developed a broader lens that considers money, opportunity, growth potential, working with good people... I recommend getting advice from someone who knows the market and can help you rise above the squeamishness before you begin negotiating. #creativeleadership #creativecoaching

3 Steps to be ready for that Promotion you have been waiting for!!!! Preparing for a promotion doesn't have to be a headache; take these three basic steps. 📌 Show Your Commitment: From arriving on time to meeting deadlines, one of the most important qualities you can provide to any firm is consistency and responsibility. If you're preparing to apply for a promotion, you want to do everything you can to become your boss' most dependable employee, which means you and your work are always on time, rain or shine. 📌 Be a Hidden Influencer: When pursuing a promotion, some people make the mistake of seeking to take all of the credit. Instead, consider becoming an unnoticed influencer or someone who does well but is slow to accept credit. Instead of only attempting to get to the top, silent influencers raise everyone else with them because they realize their worth shines through without grabbing all of the attention. 📌 Be valuable: When a company knows you're someone they want to retain, they won't hesitate to promote you. While the definition of an indispensable employee is vague, it generally signifies that you've advanced in responsibility, competence, and experience beyond your current work. Use these steps and get yourself promoted. Do you want to add more points? Do Comment below.. #promotion #tipsandtricks #careergrowth #corporatetrainer

I’ve pinched this from Instagram because it encapsulates what I look for in a manager at work too. 1. If you have a manager that enjoys working with you 2. If they are helping you improve 3. If they have a vision for your future Then you have what a lot of people are constantly looking for. And if you’re a manager, are your teams seeing the coach in you? #trusttheprocess
