Are you interested in autonomous trucks? Very interesting overview about this new industry by Transport Topics editor Seth Clevenger. The latest update shows: - Several US test deployments - Some players expectation to remove safety drivers still in 2024 - Autonomous Trucks will co-exist with drivers - Society acceptance is very important I am particularly interested in the removal of safety drivers. Since there is no open data about the safety of such vehicles, I believe it is too early to remove safety drivers. I would expect much more transparency from all players towards the public, showing any possible incidents, and also how they handle safety, how they can handle failures and basically how well their systems are tested. Thoughts? #autonomousdriving #safety https://lnkd.in/exrHQnmH

1wLets just wait and see how many inocent motorists need to die on our nations highways before this lunacy goes away. “Unique advantages”??? There are no advantages to driverless trucks. None. It’s an idiotic endeavor driven by ignorance and greed.
