On Thursday of this week, as many people will know, I achieved a promotion within Utility Warehouse, to Senior Team Leader.
I am, as you can well imagine, absolutely delighted to have got to this next level in the company.
What I wasn’t expecting was the amazing support I have received, with so many congratulatory messages (in the hundreds), voice messages and calls to from so many people within the business, as well as from many of my customers too.
I feel absolutely humbled and privileged to be a part of this company for so many reasons.
My upline, Mark Behling, introduced me to the business back in 2017, and has been an absolute diamond as he’s supported my journey ever since, and he continues to do so as I climb the ladder of success.
I’m in a fantastic team, who offer support too, but in the wider context, being a member of #TeamPurple is an honour, as I have made friends with so many people, and we all share the love and support each other wherever possible.
I wonder how many top people within a big company would call their team members to congratulate them on their accomplishments?
Well, I got a call at around 1145am on Thursday, from the very top of the ladder, from Steve Critchley, who rang to congratulate me on my achievement, had a chat and now is helping me to bigger and better things with his support in a group aimed at my level and above.
I’ve also received a congratulations call from head office, not to forget many more from other people.
The advice I’ve had from many people has been so much appreciated as I can now clearly focus on the next stage of my journey, as well as the one after that.
There will be people out there reading this who will mock what we do.
That’s perfectly acceptable, as it’s not my business and I don’t have to concern myself about your negativity.
As a naysayer you don’t understand the power of what this business has, and most importantly how UW looks after their team members in so many different ways, not least by offering them an income stream which can often change people’s lives, as it has me.
I am a 100% staunch supporter of Utility Warehouse, not only as a customer, but as a Business Partner and a shareholder too; and I’m proud to stand up and be counted.
To everyone at Utility Warehouse, my ge and well wishes, I thank you for your support, your friendship and where relevant, your business.
I have now started a new chapter to reach my next two goals, Group Leader and to get 300+ personal customers.
The former may well take a bit longer than the latter, but both will be achieved by me at some point soon.
To those reading this who are in any business that builds teams, then I salute you all and you’ll all understand what a promotion like this means to us.
