Clash of Vikings https://lnkd.in/dFfdiD9H In the past, the Vikings were recognized as the best warriors of their time. Their life was one of war, often raiding for loot and conquering many lands. They lived in clans and often fought among themselves. In Clash of Vikings we will be able to take part in the conflict between two clans of Vikings. At the beginning of the game we need to choose the side that we are going to play. Then the lands of the two clans will appear on the screen, divided by the river with bridges over it. Each clan has defensive structures set up so that they can shoot through all visible space. There is a special control panel at the bottom of the screen for combat operations. We will use it to send our warriors into battle, including infantrymen, archers, and mages. There are also techniques for shooting and throwing fireballs. By alternating all these manipulations, we will fight the enemy and defend our towers. The winner is the one who first destroys the tower of the enemy. Clash of Vikings has an interesting gameplay and great graphics. You can play this strategy game on our website with pleasure.

#ThrowbackThursday with my collection of 1911 pistols. I’m often rightfully accused of being a hater on the .45 AARP cartridge and the 1911. This isn’t because the #45ACP or 1911 are “bad”, but rather because they’ve been surpassed by other offerings. It would rather foolish to argue that a WWII P-51 Mustang fighter is a proper combat aircraft in the 21st Century. But its obsolescence as a weapon doesn’t in anyway detract from the P-51’s awesomeness or its rightful place in the pantheon of worthy weapons of war. Like the Colt's Manufacturing Company LLC’s Single Action Army, the M1911 had its prime and served admirably. But technology has long ago surpassed it. Today you can get a lighter, more compact, more accurate, and more reliable weapon with a higher magazine capacity, firing a cartridge which has caught up with .45’s sToPpInG pOwEr. There’s nothing intrinsically wrong with choosing to carry a 1911. It will still make people very dead very well. But choosing to do so should be acknowledged as a choice to choose a less capable platform for whatever reason.

Week 25 Challenge - “Reinforcements” This mode of gameplay, both players choose any 8 game pieces to begin with. Every 5th round they receive an additional 8 game pieces of their choosing. Victory is achieved when a player eliminates all opposing game pieces from the board. If this happens before reinforcements arrive then that player achieves victory early. Setup: Arrange 4 game boards in a 2 x 2. Next, place 8 obstacle game pieces as shown in the photo - this establishes the assembly areas for each players’ game pieces. *Optional: the players may divide the remaining obstacle game pieces and take turns placing them in the game area. Lastly, each player chooses 8 of their 48 game pieces to begin with and places them in their respective assembly areas. All other rules remain in effect.
