Director Of Technology at St. Tammany Parish | Leading Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity Initiatives
This is a very unique approach to education going beyond passing a test.
Last week, The Caruso Group, a division of Campaign Depot, LLC and the Archdiocese of New Orleans, along with Vivace, had the opportunity to host FADICA and discuss the progress we are seeing in our new curriculum programs. We build curriculums to the exact specifications of local and regional economic drivers, like NASA, Vivace, Lockheed Martin, and Our Lady of the Lake Surgical Hospital.

We're excited to celebrate our very own Rob Jones who started here back in 2004, marking this his 19th year with us! Rob's experience and expertise designing mechanical systems is truly spectacular, and we couldn't be more proud of his hard work, dedication, and time commitment he puts into his projects. Q: Do you remember the first project you worked on for ETI? A: "One of my many first projects that I worked on at ETI was White Line Lofts. I was brought into the project to help finish it out, and it was a 9-story multi-family housing project with many different mechanical systems." Q: Can you describe your most challenging project to work on in recent years? A: "Any historical project. With the history of each building and what the building was used for at that time and what the use of the building is being turned into. Each historic project brings its own set of unique challenges." Q: What was your dream job growing up? A: "My dream job growing up was working at NASA as I've always been fascinated with space."

Every product needs #testing! Testing is a challenging, exciting and essential stage in product development across industries, especially in the #space #industry.
We’re celebrating the 200th hotfire test at NASA’s Historic Test Stand 4670 in Huntsville, Alabama, built in 1965. This milestone includes 89 tests that spanned the Apollo, Shuttle, and Atlas programs and the 111th test of our BE-3U and BE-4 engines – and we continue to test more and more each week. We are honored to continue NASA's legacy. Thank you, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, Team Redstone and the Rocket City community!

Today is World Braille Day! Louis Braille, the inventor of the Braille system, was born on January 4th, 1890 in France. He lost his eyesight in an accident at age 3. Later in his childhood, at age 15, he created the six dot system that could be read with fingertips. The Braille system quickly spread across Europe and in 1916, it was being taught to students in the United States. Here are some fun facts about the Braille system: 1)In 1999, NASA named an asteroid after Louis Braille 2) Books in Braille are larger than regular books 3)There are Braille alphabets not only in English but also in Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, and Spanish to name a few.

Interesting insight from Dan Goldin!
A common misconception is that because I'm a NASA guy, I spend all my time thinking about outer space. But oftentimes being a NASA person means thinking about earth from the vantage point of space. In Neil Degrasse Tyson's lingo, this would be from "a cosmic perspective". My friends in the space community share what they love about our planet. 💥 Dan Dumbacher, AIAA 💥 Rich Cooper, Space Foundation 💥 Robert Walker, MoonWalker Associates 💥 Robert Cabana, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration When you see the earth from their perspective it's tough not to love what we have and want to protect it. In fact, it's why I'm so passionate about working with innovators who are solving tough problems to save our environment. Tell me what you love about our earth below 🌍.

SPACE - THE BIG PICTURE My dear friend Dan Goldin always posts such insightful and relevant information. He is generous with his time and experience. My response to his most recent post is as follows: "Space is Hard" - that's my motto. But it is unbelievably relevant to the survival of our species and planet. I am often asked why I am in the Space Industry...from my perspective, it is the only place we can glean all of the changes we want and need to make on this planet. Have you ever been in a discussion or argument and realize that you have to step back and look at the 'big picture'? That is what I believe we do when we go to space. It is our own ability as humankind, to see the 'big picture'. #spaceishard #boldlygo #spaceformore #thebigpicture #spaceexploration #forthebenefitofhumankind

Vice President, Government Affairs and Strategic Engagement at PCSI - Professional Contract Services, Inc
While legislation often takes the spotlight when it comes to employing individuals with disabilities in the federal government, it's crucial not to overlook the equally vital role played by regulations and agency plans. This panels discussion at the Inclusion Through Policy Innovation Conference delved into this timely and often underestimated topic. It was great to hear the insightful perspectives of Larysa K. from Melwood, Jeff Koses from GSA, and Julia Wise from NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. #InclusionThroughPolicyInnovation #FederalEmployment #DiversityandInclusion #PCSI

Assistant Director Digital Transformation Welsh Value in Heath Centre. Passionate about people, data and leadership, building teams with integrity and trust
This underscores the necessity of increasing female representation in engineering and promoting pride in their career paths. Despite decades of experience and leadership roles in technology, the ongoing issue of gender bias in the industry persists, often disguised in subtle forms like questioning women's competence or credibility. However, it remains crucial to address and combat such behavior to foster confidence among women in similar positions. #proudtobeawomeninstem #proudtobeanengineer #proudtobeageek #stem #diversity 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
