Thank you California Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary Lindsey Sin for your continued partnership in creating more permanent homes for Veterans in need!

CalVet Secretary Lindsey Sin was on hand today at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs West Los Angeles campus as part of a groundbreaking ceremony for 87 new permanent homes for veterans in need. Veteran housing at the campus is being built in four phases, with 237 homes already completed and the development plan calling for at least 1,200 permanent supportive units. CalVet is partnering with the California Department of Housing & Community Development and others in the project. Funding for the campus includes $51.8 million from the Veterans Housing and Homelessness Prevention program.
