If you are into investments/markets, and aren't aware about what's happening with Nvidia, you are surely living under a rock A CAGR of 75%+ in last 10 years 400%+ in last 5 years 100%+ in last 3 years 200%+ in last 1 year These are not some numbers you can say "wow" and just move on. These are really mind shattering numbers. And this is not like a BSE listed operator driven company. It has been built on a serious 20 year+ long vision by the founder. And it's now the most valuable company of the world. Where Google, Amazon and Apple have been racing for #1 position for ages, imagine a player comes from 100th+ position and in 2-3 years just surpasses everyone to be leading. Just like Aamir Khan in Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar 🤣 I've been reading and hearing a lot of stories of employees who are retiring by age of 35/40, even younger. They have minted millions through ESOPs already. A trouble sign for the company if all great talent retires and leaves early. Drawbacks of success hehehe. I had first heard about Nvidia in 2006 during my Computer Science Engineering when batchmates interest in gaming, wanted to buy Nvidia graphics card for their systems. Little was I aware then that it will become this behemoth. It's an investment miss from my side, just like so many companies in hindsight 😂 But what amazing stories to hear from friends and their friends who have bought 4-5 houses in tier 1 and 2 cities in last 1 year and many more assets 😄 Incredible story. Power of ESOPs if in the right company.

It’s always easy to think in hindsight… It like that MRF stocks that a grandson got from his grandfather and we all said wish we had a grandfather like him 😂

There are 8 Indian companies as well generating 75%+ CAGR over last 10 years! But no one will talk about them since they are small cap companies. 😃 Some of the names includes: Waaree Renewables Jyoti Resins Harshil Agrotech Dynacons Systems

I have a different view on it, A CAGR of 75 % in the last 10 is only possible because of the exponential growth the stock had in the past couple of years , if you ignore these years the CAGR will dip to below 50s , and I don't regret a bit not investing there, coz even in India market post 2020 dip several stocks saw a huge appreciation especially most of the adani stocks, a couple of them even saw 500% return in a yr if you take the CAGR of those companies for Past ten years it would definitely be more than nvidia. And as far as my view on nvidia is it's a great company with good fundamentals but definitely overpriced right now, if you remember how tesla back in 2021 was the most imp company, and market was going gaga about it, it made elon Musk the richest man with net worth of 300 billion and the shares of Tesla had ath of 400 dollar and it's mid 2024 and its at 180 now. I think nvidia will follow the same path if not as much as Tesla but it will definitely correct by 20-30 % at least.

The dark side - your friends buying 4-5 houses are inflating the housing market!

Been investing and trading in Nvidia since 2020.   Our team at William O’ Neil gave a ‘Buy’ recommendation on Nvidia last year in Jan and now we are currently holding 600% return on it.

This stock has been in my watch list since 2018 and I missed it due to pure negligence. Just like you, I knew Nvidia from gaming and thier graphics cards. I believe Intel is a great buy opportunity right now.

Nvidia shares mainly jumped due to Gen AI and GPU needed for huge data processing.
