Please join us in welcoming our new Infrastructure Engineer, Isaiah Lewis, to the Volley Team! What inspired you to start a career in your line of work? "Years ago on Christmas morning, my brother and I were given a Lego Mindstorm- a programmable lego robot on wheels. We were pretty young, and had never seen anything like it. We spent the rest of the day building the robot to look like a spaceship, and programming it to "fly" around my grandparents house, in order to protect our gifts. This was my first real introduction to computing, and it left me with so much curiosity." What are you looking forward to most about working at Volley? "The builder inside me is really looking forward to our Hackathons. I love working on greenfield projects, and having the luxury to create from the ground up is always nice. The backgrounds of our collective team are so incredibly diverse, it's hard to imagine all of the projects that will be schemed up."

A few weeks ago, I discovered "Nights & Weekends," a six-week program by Buildspace. It gathers creators worldwide to develop meaningful projects. I applied and got in. Our first task was to refine our project ideas. Here's mine. I'd love your thoughts on clarity, likes, and dislikes. Early sharing for quick feedback is a core part of this program, which I find exciting! Any suggestion or what feature you would like to see is appreciated cc: buildspace #buildspace #nightsandweekends #s5 #vscode #todotasktoide

🌟 75 Days of Summer Challenge - Day 4 out of 75! 🌟 Today, as part of my #75DaysOfSummerChallenge, I focused on solving problems related to Palindrome Numbers. A Palindrome Number is a number that reads the same backward as forward. Working on these problems helped me understand various techniques and algorithms to determine if a number is a palindrome. I'm enjoying the process of tackling these challenges and honing my problem-solving skills! Looking forward to what tomorrow brings! #PersonalGrowth #SkillDevelopment #MathConcepts #PalindromeNumber #CodingPractice #ContinuousLearning #ProfessionalDevelopment #SummerChallenge

Reply-post, Holiday Edition: As you open gifts or objects off store shelves this holiday season, take a wild guess at how many sensors that object was detected, identified, or measured by and leave a comment with what the item is and your guess! This video makes consumer goods production look fairly straightforward, but there are dozens of sensors on a single machine that only BUILDS cardboard boxes. Not to mention the sensors on machines that fill them, label them, read their barcodes, put them on pallets…
