A new report from GoFundMe shows that Irish people care more about community than any other nationality. Ireland is far from perfect but we are a charitable bunch. Your customers want to know what you do to help your community. Many business people and companies do their bit for local causes, frequently they do so behind closed doors. If your business has volunteered, donated or supported your community you should consider sharing your story. Maybe you can inspire others to support the cause... and it's a great way to show your brand in a positive light. The world is made stronger when we join together to make a difference. Collaboration is at the core of every business, whether you work with a small or a large team, especially within family businesses. Successful collaboration is key to a happy, healthy business.  But looking outside your own colleagues and business partners, how can you collaborate with the small businesses in your community to help lift them up? Are there members of your community that naturally fit into the same sphere as your business that you can help to uplift and strengthen? Rather than see our cohorts as competition, consider how your combined visions and knowledge can help strengthen your community.  Whether it's collaborating during the local Turkey Trot or holiday parade, co-sponsoring a family or charity during the holidays, or donating to your local food pantry or nonprofit of your choice, when we work together rather than against one another, our communities reap the greatest rewards of all.

I'm ready to share my big goals... These past few months, I've been working on laying out a vision plan for myself. What does "living the dream" look like for me, and how will I get there. It's a deep look into who I am, who I want to be, and what brings me joy and satisfaction. There are many parts of this document, but I wanted to share by big goals. * Give a TED Talk * Give a Keynote speech a conference * Host parties where different people can meet, mingle, and grow. * Build a network of people where I can launch ideas quickly and help others make their dreams come true. * Host a fundraiser that raises $100,000 for charity * Host a fundraiser that raises $1,000,000 for charity * Have the funds to retire, work only for enjoyment * Build a legacy that lives beyond me What are your big goals?
