With Warner Records' hot streak in breaking new acts — including Benson Boone, whose hit "Beautiful Things" remains in the top 10 nearly six months after its debut — Bloomberg spoke to label Co-Chairman and CEO Aaron Bay-Schuck.

NEW: The conservative majority on the Supreme Court is moving fast and breaking precedents. But in the lower courts, where the media spotlight doesn’t shine as bright, unseen forces are fomenting a quiet revolution. A new three-part investigative series from On the Media and ProPublica explores the money, influence and power machine that was built to fuel a conservative takeover of America’s courts. And it introduces Leonard Leo, the man at the center of it all, and how he plans to change American politics.

🧠 Local news has a huge impact on the lives of human beings. People still feel deeply connected to their anchor teams who are “in their homes” and millions of people rely on local news websites for most of their news in a day.
Yes, many of us “use it” differently today - I see it on Instagram and go to the stories that way. Despite all the challenges we hear local news transitioning through - not prioritizing local tv news as part of your PUBLIC FACING IMPACT (PFI) strategy is missing a big opportunity to share your impact.
This applies to every type of mission and company - Chaenara OBrien - I’ve seen tech companies do this so well and can’t wait to share some of that during your podcast! ✅ Healthcare ✅ Food industry ✅ Higher Ed - Have a great story or expertise of impact? See if you can tell it through local TV news. Just STOP SENDING PRESS RELEASES. (That’s not how it works best)

I’m so excited, I just finished a live interview with Marcus Washington at NBC Bay Area morning news. It was such a thoughtful interview where we discussed how so many people in this moment are looking for belonging and a political home as a way to engage in our politics and have impact.

Testifying before Congress is like playing poker in Las Vegas with professionals...as soon as you sit down at the table, you have lost. The only questions are how much you lose and how long it takes.
✅ It is not about finding solutions.
✅ It is not about legislation.
✅ It is about taking a pound of flesh.
✅ It is theater, and you are not an actor.
I advise clients not to testify in front of Congress unless legally compelled.
The negative publicity of refusing to testify is nearly certain to be better than what will come out of the hearing. The days of Fred Rogers going to Congress and convincing them of the value of his programming and saving his budget are over. Today, the only way to win is not to play.
