Autonomous vehicles have come a long way, and we're excited to continue ushering in a safer future for all. Happy #AutonomousVehicleDay from all of us at Waymo!
I saw a Waymo traveling between Midtown and Buckhead in Atlanta, GA recently. Caught me a little off guard when it passed me in the next lane over. I had a brief moment of "Woah, wait what?" because I didn't know there were any here! I know you aren't planning on offering autonomous rides here yet but seeing one here really got my hopes up. I'm excited to see them in more places as time goes on!
While we in Germany are only too happy to discuss openness to technology, but end up with a masquerade of openly refusing new technologies, companies on other continents, such as the USA, seem to show that “where we still see hurdles, others already have solutions ready”
My first ride in Waymo was amazing! Not only did my family feel safe, but we took the opportunity to test out each of the features including temperature and music preferences and even the option to stop and hydrate and shop 🛍️!
I tried Waymo in San Francisco two weeks ago and never felt safer in a car. The human behaviour is the biggest risk factor in the driverless mobiity equasion, not technology. Awesome experience! The only frustration point was that I couldn't book it directly as a non US citizen.
is your product connected to 5G? internet? google maps?
Its my first time hearing this, I was wondering why May 31st is considered autonomous vehicle day?
Impressive growth 👏! Congratulations Tekedra & Waymo's team. Well done!
❤️
Love the journey!
