The field of Behavioral Science owes an immense debt to Daniel Kahneman. His pioneering work on human decision-making and behavior laid the foundation for this discipline to gain widespread recognition today. For me personally, Kahneman's groundbreaking insights opened my eyes to the complexities of the human mind. What began as casual interest slowly blossomed into a profound passion for understanding how we think, feel, and make choices. Too often, we scratch our heads wondering why systems falter, oblivious to the mental shortcuts and biases that subtly sway our decisions. Kahneman's legacy serves as a powerful reminder: by truly grasping the nuances of human judgment, we can create systems and environments that harmonize with how we naturally process information and make choices. The true beauty of Behavioral Science lies in every interaction we have – whether with other people or the systems around us. And I owe my gratitude to Daniel Kahneman for lifting the veil on those intricate dynamics, allowing me to see the world through a new lens. His contributions have left an indelible mark, inspiring generations to come to build a more psychologically-informed and human-centric world. 📚 Passing on my love for this field with my top 5 books

Many challenges the world faces arise from broken behavioral systems – systems with multiple levels of interacting actors in which people make the best choices given their limitations. By doing so, they generate outcomes that no one actually wants. Busara and the field of behavioral science could play an influential role in understanding and reimagining these broken behavioral systems. In our latest Groundwork publication, Emiliano Díaz del Valle, Chaning Jang, and Stephen Wendel share insights on how systems function, the many tools and techniques of system analysis, and our new approach to combining behavioral science with systems analysis. Download your free copy of this Groundwork here: https://lnkd.in/dHBQKtyz #behavioralscience #behavioralscienceresearch #research #behaviorchange
