Wow, Tory Flynn, thanks for sharing this great report about women in manufacturing. Some sentences that really caught my attention : "I love manufacturing, walking on the floor and even how it smells!”- this is just what happened to me too! "Especially after COVID, women took a really huge step backwards in the workplace." "In organizations with a higher ratio of female executives, retention and job satisfaction rates increase" "stepping laterally to build scope of experience" and many more! This is an encouraging piece of paper for all #womeninmanufacturing and #womeninengineering

What does the data mean to you if you're looking to hire #manufacturing talent? You may be looking in the wrong place. If 73% of women in manufacturing entered the industry unintentionally it means not enough knew about how positive the industry can be for individuals. Some food for thought: -Does your business have a DE&I initiative that helps you locate talent in non-traditional locations? -Do you know what DE&I means to your existing talent? -Do you have an employee engagement program in place to help you source talent through referrals? #HR #diversityequityandinclusion
