Striking out looking for reporter contact information online? Try a good old fashioned phone call. You can call a newsroom and ask for the most appropriate contact person for your topic or location. Be careful not to call when the newsroom is dealing with breaking news or around news deadlines. For example, if your local TV news is on at 5pm, don't call at 4:30. Make contact earlier in the day.

We found that: 📰 Audiences welcome existing restrictions preventing politicians from presenting news content. 🎙️ Views on politicians presenting current affairs programmes are mixed, but while there are concerns, there's no clear consensus for an outright ban. ⚖️ Due impartiality is strongly valued by audiences in news programming. 🔗 Find out more: https://lnkd.in/dqbm_C_E #Broadcast #Politics #TV
