A lot of business stakeholders tend to take Mike's point of view: “Who could have predicted corona and its effects? Isn’t Strategic Workforce Planning over engineered in view of such unexpected events?“ Interestingly, no one would think of adopting such an approach to strategic business-critical issues. “Oh, let’s skip strategic aircraft fleet management because unexpected events may occur.“ So from my perspective, Winston and Mike both make a fair point.
