✨ What gives candidates the "WOW" factor during the hiring processes ✨ So many of the businesses I work with daily emphasise how they're willing to train on skill but attitude isn't something that can be taught so when I'm working with candidates in the pre-offer stages of a process, I look out for the same things! Check out the video below to hear what they are 👇🏽

PSA for talent teams: your employer brand is no longer in the hands of marketing. Every email, text, call, interview (or delay, non-response, no-show) amounts to your employer brand. This makes your coordinators, recruiters and interviewers key brand ambassadors. Enable them. It's the best investment you can make in your employer brand.

Certified Employer Brand Professional | Employer Brand Manager | I craft talent marketing and employer brand strategies aligning them with the business strategy
Where to find talents in 2024? According to Randstad Employer Brand Research 2024, job boards or job search engines are the main source (54% on global average) for finding a job. Obviously, they have the highest reach among job seekers globally. For me, this first place is defined by the current position of the Employer market over the Candidate market. I would have been surprised to hear this fact just some time ago. The real work with job boards was default and didn’t get the main focus. LinkedIn and social media platforms are the second most utilized sources for job opportunities, according to the research, and this resonates greatly with my experience. The full report is available via 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dCgiuHHF It provides a glimpse into the key EVP drivers, job-switching trends, and a wealth of insights available through the REBR. #employerbranding #talent

🌟 Did you know: 70% of the hiring journey takes place before candidates actively seek jobs. Strong reputation 🟰 strong talents We often talk about how online reputation affects brand perception, customer loyalty and sales. But there is also the flip side of the coin, known as employer brand reputation 🔁 Simply put, it's how the company is viewed by employees and job seekers. Here are some figures for you. 📈 According to LinkedIn, a trusted employer brand can attract 50% more qualified candidates and reduce hiring costs by 43%. Approximately 75% of candidates research a company's reputation and employer brand before applying. Meanwhile, 52% check the company website and social media first. Would real professionals want to join a company with a bad reputation? I think the answer is obvious. #recruiting #reputationmanagement #professionals

Mind-blowing statistics 😲 There are 163 professional's in Sydney currently working as 'Head of Marketing' within the advertising industry. Out of this pool 132 of them have 'open to work' on... And guess how many jobs there are advertised at this level on LinkedIn... 0 - yes you saw it right... not one single role When I meet with senior talent like this I always hear; 'there doesn't seem to be anything out there.' Usually this level of a role is never advertised on the likes of Seek or LinkedIn - they know these roles are in high demand and usually use a recruiter or draw from their network when finding people. Hence my two biggest pieces of advise at this level would be; 1. Use your network and start sparking casual conversation with those you know in your dream company 2. Speak to a recruiter who has market insight, who can speak to their connections within companies, who knows a companies 2024 plans and who can advocate for you in front of their clients. #marketinsight #headofmarketingadvise #headofmarketing

HOW SUCCESSFUL IS YOUR EMPLOYER BRAND ACTIVITY? Read a nice summary article by Andrea Boatman yesterday about the best way to measure how successful your Employer Brand is.....interesting to know how many of you research and report on the following: ▫ Candidate net promotor score ▫ Internal employee referral quantity ▫ Cost per hire ▫ Social engagement scores (likes, shares and follows on your company page) ▫ Non-specific role application (open application - when your brand draws written candidate interest rather than a role application) ▫ Careers page analytics (number of views, duration, abandoned applications etc.) ▫ Application to interview ratio ▫ Employer Brand Index ▫ Glassdoor interview experience ▫ Diversity of candidates ▫ ROI of branding activity It feels we all look at the obvious cost-centred metrics, and Glassdoor is a fairly noisy indicator of your company's reputation. Is there anything missing from the above list? Would a closer eye on reporting in these areas help you understand what is (and isn't) working? (full article link in the comments - thanks for the #recruitingbrainfood) #hr #humanresources #hrrecruitment #employerbrand
