Urge your legislator to support the Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Reauthorization Act and a resolution to recognize health care worker burnout! The Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Reauthorization Act (H.R.7153/S.3679) will reauthorize critical grant funding to prevent suicides by helping health care professionals and their employers support the wellbeing of the health care workforce. Similarly, S.Res.567 will designate March 18 as Health Workforce Well-Being Day of Awareness, recognizing the need to strengthen health workforce well-being. Health care workers are at an increased risk of suicide, and it is vitally important to make sure this dedicated workforce is uplifted so they can continue to care for our communities. Take action now – urge your legislator to cosponsor the Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Reauthorization Act (H.R.7153/S.3679) and S.Res.567 to designate March 18 as Health Workforce Well-Being Day of Awareness. https://lnkd.in/e4tka5RG

There has been a chronic shortage of healthcare provisions for those on long term sick which is hindering the delivery of service and timely return to work. In 2022 the ONS reported the number of people out of work due to long term sickness and or preventable issues was around 2.5m. Roll on a couple of years this figure remains the static. The CBI reported this is costing the UK £180bn per year in lost productivity. One way to solve this is through Proactive Healthcare, increasing health and wellness where health ownership is taken as seriously as financial planning. Early diagnosis , through pharmacies, walk in clinics and workplace health and wellness plans. Such services are already available accessibility is the key.

Transform communities & Win contracts/grants with our A.I. systems and ecosystems. Register for our demo👇🏽 Text ‘Waitlist’ 240-335-8813
I started this company with one mission… improve health for those who suffer the most from health disparities. I was fortunate to discover the untapped world of government health contracting and it quickly became my most sustainable revenue source, but I realized that I can only do so much as one company. If we are really going to see monumental transformation in the health system globally, I need more companies operating in the government health space and winning these contracts with me. Then and only then will we start to move the needle forward on health disparities. #healthdisparities #healthtransformation #healthconsultant #blackhealthmatters #minoritiesinmedicine #womeninhealth #socialdeterminantsofhealth #healthbusiness #healthpreneur #healthcoach #healthcoaching #nursepreneur #nursecoach #lifecoaching #governmentcontracting #govcon #governmentcontracts #governmentcontracting

Self-care is more than what you do for yourself to be well. It includes what families and communities do to be well.
The World Health Organization defines self-care as the ability of individuals, families, and communities to promote health, prevent disease, maintain health, and cope with illness and disability with or without the support of a healthcare provider. Self-care is changing the face of healthcare. It focuses on equipping and entrusting people to take a central role in their own health. For women, this can involve an important shift to being able to make decisions about their own care, when they may not have had this autonomy before. We all want the power to invest in our wellbeing—to be able to take care of our emotional, physical and mental health. But without reliable information and appropriate tools, reasonable options and adequate support, it’s not always possible. Read more self-care tips: https://msfsa.me/49Iu9eW
