Built on Locofy's Large Design Models (LDMs), Lightning, a Figma plug-in, automates nearly 80% of front-end development, easing the burden on developers and allowing startups to focus on growth. In a world plagued by developer shortages, Lightning promises to be a game-changer, addressing the challenges that lead to revenue loss and coder burnout. Locofy invested over $1 million in developing Lightning, trained on a dataset of millions of designs. The tool will initially launch for Figma, catering to websites and web apps, with plans to extend compatibility to design tools like AdobeXD, Penpot, Sketch, Wix, and potentially Canva and Notion later this year. We need volunteers At Waide Our latest product Waide Mobility, is a smart wayfinding platform that provides beautiful inclusive indoor maps and makes navigating indoor spaces seamless and hassle-free. We are not only providing awesome indoor wayfinding experiences but we are going the extra mile by creating an inclusive indoor wayfinding solution for PwDs (People with Disabilities) with a strong focus on visually impaired individuals by creating a robotic Steering-Assistance hardware that uses AI, computer vision and Lidar in following GPS waypoints while steering them away from obstacles in their paths. We are Currently pre-seed and bootstrapping to get alot done. It's Day 2 of #NoCode30! ⭐️ Thank you Era of No Code for offering this amazing opportunity. We had our first live session yesterday with Era of No Code's Founder, Aditya Pati and Notion Ambassador in India, Vensy Krishna. Both extraordinaries of no-code! 🔥 I realised how I've always been using no-code apps for the longest time such as Notion and Canva. However, I had let my fear of being 'judged' to hold me back from exploring no-code. I've seen others receive comments and I'm afraid to hear the same, "Real designers don't use Canva" "Real developers code" "Why don't you just write your notes?" But there's no shame in being a no-coder. (It makes my life easier, why should that bother anyone!? 😭) I learnt there's a HUGE community of no-coders! And that no-code is perfect for MVPs and startups, with every potential to scale too. There's such a rich number of no-code apps online, it's overwhelming to decide which ones are the best to learn. ⚡️ Each has their own power and limitations, it's best to discover which apps fit your goals. As Vensy recommended, learn 3 to 4 apps, and give yourself 6 months. 🎯 With this, I am aiming to master Framer, Figma, Notion and Softr in the next 6 months! 💃🏾 So gang, look out for my posts if you wanna see more of what I'll be up to for the next 30- I guess 28 days! Cloneify has crossed 1000+ users, all within twelve days of launch🥳 Here's what I did differently this time: - Did not add many features - Did not spend time choosing the right button color - Did not buy a domain Now that I look back at the launch, many things could have gone wrong. Like having no experience in coding, building a functioning prototype took two days (with the help of a crash course and ChatGPT) As soon as the MVP was ready, I shared it in the @buildbyskiptheline community for feedback. I wanted to launch it immediately on Product Hunt, but plugin approval can take five days, but to my surprise took less than six hours. The Product Hunt launch was going to happen on my brother's wedding day. I would be busy and could not focus on the launch. However, I decided to challenge myself. It felt like changing the difficulty of a game. The launch went much better than expected. There are a million things that I could have done better, but glad I decided to launch it. The community was incredibly supportive, and the plugin crossed 300+ users in 48 hours! From there, users have been organically growing within the Figma community. I wanted to give a few special shoutouts: Akhil, the hunter for Cloneify, we were going to collaborate during Quick Switch's launch in Jan, but it did not happen. So glad to have worked with him now. Prashant, for putting the idea of creating a side project and being an incredible person. I can now answer your question with 2, "How many of you have built a product on the internet and launched it?" Pooja, for her incredible support and nudge. Amazing to see her growth, and happy to call her a friend. @BuildCamp Goa has been my best purchase for upskilling, learning, and making friends. Buildcamps Goa family's support has been incredible. I'm excited to share our groundbreaking project, "RideShare Explore," created by my colleague OUSSAMA EL MEFTAHI and me. Our journey began with the frustrating daily traffic in our city, which often made us late for school and appointments. One day, stuck in traffic, we thought about how an app could help people like us navigate the city more efficiently. This idea led to the development of "RideShare Explore," an app that not only tackles #traffic issues but also encourages city exploration. Our vision is to provide a platform where users can find rides, share costs, and discover hidden gems in their cities. We also aim to cater to tourists, offering them an authentic local experience in our country. To realize our vision, we utilized our skills as #softwareengineer students. For the frontend, we chose HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, focusing on a streamlined approach to frameworks to deepen our understanding of JavaScript. Throughout the development process, we encountered various technical challenges, such as creating a robust ride-sharing platform and defining our target audience. However, these challenges fueled our creativity and problem-solving skills, ultimately making our project stronger. Looking ahead, we believe "RideShare Explore" has the potential to make a significant impact on society. By providing a convenient and cost-effective transportation solution, we can reduce traffic congestion and promote sustainable travel. Additionally, the app's focus on city exploration can enhance cultural exchange and community engagement. In conclusion, "RideShare Explore" is more than just an app; it's a symbol of innovation and collaboration.
