Last week, we helped a client save 100 hours a year. With a 75-minute discovery session: Step 0: Invite the right people → Aim for 1-2 end users per department → Fewer people = focus and momentum --- Step 1: Understand Process (15 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙨) → See the process in action → See the struggles → Seeing is believing --- Step 2: Understand Pains (15 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙨) → Dig deeper → "Why is this a struggle?" → "How often do you think about this?" --- Step 3: Prioritise Pains (15 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙨) → Identify the Top 3 pains → Go with the users' gut feeling --- Step 4: Discuss Ideal World (15 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙨) → Ask the group what would delight them → No constraints --- Step 5: Brainstorm Solutions (15 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙨) → Bounce a few ideas off → There are no bad ideas → Skip jargon --- Boom. Use this dead simple process to solve pains in (almost) any process. --- P.S How would you tweak this process? ♻️ Repost this so we can all solve problems together

Day 30: Whatever you look for, you will find it. Growing up, I loved the movie "PollyAnna" Sure, it was cheesy as hell, and older than your gran, but Hayley Mills? Classic. My favorite was the scene where they had to prepare loads and loads of cakes for the big party. I just liked the idea of a roomful of cakes. Oh, also the fishing scene with the can with holes in it. Anyway, I digress. One of the things I learned is that if you have a particular perspective, whatever issue you look at, you'll always find things to support your existing narrative. It's why we can all look at the same study statistics and come to different conclusions. That's why there are always people who complain, constantly - if you're looking to be offended, or hurt, you will ALWAYS find something to be offended or hurt about. And if you're looking to feel grateful, and good, there's always something you'll find to feel good about. You would think, that everyone would choose to feel good, right? WRONG. Sometimes people get stuck, in the story of everything being wrong - and then that's what they see. They watch the news, their algorithms show them more shit, they get more and more annoyed / upset / sad / which pulls their attention even more to what they're now subconsciously looking for. Anyway, the point is, be aware of what you're looking for. Choose it. You get to choose. Because, you'll find it, whatever it is.

Looking for a New Year's resolution? Try one of these. Or better yet, try all of them. 1. Resolve to stop talking about what you want to do and only talk about what you've done. 2. Resolve to spend more time connecting with your existing audience than chasing a new one. 3. Resolve to say no to anything that isn't a "hell yeah!" (Credit to Derek Sivers for that one.) 4. Resolve to stop optimizing for algorithms and start optimizing for yourself. 5. Resolve to stop doing more things than you start. 6. Resolve to stop comparing yourself to others and only compare yourself to who you were yesterday. 7. Resolve to stop using the word "should." 8. Resolve to use fear as a compass (Credit to Seth Godin for that one.) 9. Resolve to take one more pass at reducing or simplifying anything you think is done before you unveil it to the world. 10. Resolve to offer more solutions than complaints. 11. Resolve to be in a place at this time next year where one of the above no longer needs to be a resolution for you to do it. Good luck.

🌌✨ Ever caught yourself entrapped in the whirlwind of fleeting emotions? Let's dive deep, but not drown! Here's a perplexing tidbit: Emotions are like clouds ⛅. They come, they shade, they go, and sometimes they pour. But, dear reader, would you judge the sky for its transient clouds? Probably not! 💡Bursty Insight: Perception, judgments, assumptions - think of them as mischievous little bugs 🐞 trying to hack your cerebral software. They’re those pesky pop-ups in the grand browser of life, often distorting the clear webpage of reality. Now, what if we simply chose to click the 'x' on these pop-ups, letting them drift away without the unnecessary right-click and investigation? Imagine the relief, the clarity, the expansive blue screen of peace! 💻 To be captivated by a fleeting emotion is human. But to know it's fleeting, to smile at it, and let it pass – that's empowerment. 🚀 Here's your byte-sized takeaway: Feel, but don’t fuel. Let’s debug, declutter, and delight in the vastness of our unclouded minds! 💖🧠 #EmbraceTheEphemeral #DebugYourLife #CloudyWithAChanceOfClarity
