Farewell to Wipro colleagues and clients
Goodbye Wipro !!!

Farewell to Wipro colleagues and clients

As I sign-off from Wipro, and reflecting on 9+ years long and amazing journey with Wipro...

It has been a great professional adventure in Wipro, where I have got many different opportunities to unleash my potential. This experience will surely help me in next roles. Being with Wipro helped me acquire new skills and improve the way I think and deal with people. Great leaders and mentors not only taught me how to grow higher but more importantly how to stay humble down-to-earth as you grow.

9 years ago, when I joined Wipro (from Microsoft), it was actually a big cultural shift for me. An "Open", "fun-at-work", "work-hard and party-harder" type of culture of Microsoft Versus a very formal "Suite-tie", "follow the process", "No round neck T-shirts" , "Swipe In-Out" type of culture in Wipro (back then in 2010, it has changed a lot now). Anyways, I joined Wipro with much ambivalence but with a confidence of "making a difference in whatever I do, wherever I go". It took about a year's time to get kick-off and accustomed. Thanks to my manager and mentor, Rahul Sarda, who supported me in those initial days.

In Wipro once you are in, you don’t get time to think about anything except work and exactly same happened for me. One after other I saw new opportunities, new deals, new projects, new roles, new regions, just kept coming and time just flew. Today I can confidently and proudly say that I am coming out as a better and all round person. Thanks to Wipro Leaders and Colleagues for all their support !!!

Just to sum-up this chapter, my Data Analytics journey with Wipro is about 100+ deals, 10+ large enterprise engagements, in 3 Geos and 10+ countries, 6 Awards, attended 10+ professional & leadership training, read 30+ books, spoke in 4 external events and conferences, have customers from almost all industry verticals, and above all, I had privilege to meet both Mr. Azim Premji and Rishad Premji couple of times. Just meeting or observing great leaders teaches you many things. Isn't it?

And most of all, I thank all my customers. Many of them are connected with me on LinkedIn and some are my mentors too. I always believed and experienced that "one-day in with your customer is more effective that what doing one-month research sitting in your office".

After a short break of couple of days, I am all set to start my next chapter today.

I don’t know what's coming up next for me but as always, I have a confidence of "making a difference in whatever I do, wherever I go".

Wish you all the Best !!!
