Coats teamed up with FAMAA to participate in a beach cleaning initiative at Mount Lavinia on March 30, 2024. Going by Coats commitment to a greener world our team collected plastic, glass, metal, and rubber components, ensuring the waste was sent for recycling. This impactful event was organized by the Zero Plastic Movement of the University of Moratuwa. Exciting news! Coats Sri Lanka has just signed a Renewable Power Purchasing Agreement with First Energy SL (Pvt) Ltd. Through our partnership, Invictus Plus (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of First Energy SL (Pvt) Ltd, will invest in a 1.1-megawatt solar power plant on our factory rooftop.
