By analyzing soybean tissue we are able to find the optimized rate and timing of fertility applications. Our intern Tanner collected soybean tissue at our research farm, which revealed the nutrient levels – like nitrogen, sulfur and others nutrients – that impact plant health and yields. #CropNutrition #LiquidFertilizer

Our research farm is always performing trials to determine which fertilizer blends and rates work best for each crop. But what happens to all those yields? We donate! Dinuba, CA is surrounded by great agricultural programs who could use some extra animal feed. We recently contributed stacks of oats, triticale, and alfalfa to the Reedley College and Reedley Middle College High School Animal Science programs. This food will help students with their fair projects, where they raise cows, goats, sheep, and pigs. A big shout out to the Crop Vitality Learning Center team for supporting our future farmers! From the lab! Identifying soil samples which have different ratios of thiosulfate fertilizers to find the most effective blend in reducing ammonia volatilization. As a pump passes air over the samples, the ammonia is captured in acid traps. In simpler terms, we're working to help farmers maximize their nitrogen use while minimizing environmental impact.
