🌟 Faculty Spotlight 🌟 We are thrilled to highlight the incredible work that was done by our very own David Brown, Associate Professor of Finance and Founder & Director of the Microsoft Excel Collegiate Challenge and his role in guiding an immersion learning project last semester. We are thrilled to hear Professor Brown's positive reflection on working with the students: "I loved the energy the students brought to the project." Under Professor Brown's visionary leadership, this project team had an unique opportunity to incorporate the students' perspectives and improve the marketing and outreach of the Microsoft Excel Collegiate Challenge. "By having our students develop and launch social media campaigns, the students experienced the benefits of learning Excel first-hand and were able to use their experiences to engage their peers and get more students involved.". Students were also able to provide insight to Professor Brown in how students are using technology to conduct their business and personal lives. It's inspiring to see academia and practical application come together in such a meaningful way.
