1. What is Amazon One Medical?

   Amazon One Medical is a modern approach to medical care—allowing people to get care on their terms and on their schedule. Amazon One Medical has two care offerings: 1) One Medical Membership, for 24/7 on-demand virtual care and ongoing primary care, and; 2) One Medical Pay-per-visit, for one-time virtual visits to treat 30+ common conditions.

2. What is One Medical Pay-per-visit?

   One Medical Pay-per-visit provides fast, convenient treatment for 30+ common health conditions through one-time virtual visits. With Pay-per-visit, you pay a flat, out-of-pocket fee of $29 for a message-only visit (not available in all states for all conditions) or $49 for a video visit. Customers self pay for the care they need, insurance is not accepted or needed, and FSA/HSA payment is accepted. 3. Am I eligible to use One Medical Pay-per-visit?

   One Medical's Pay-per-visit telehealth service is available for US-based patients between the ages of 18 and 64. At this time, Pay-per-visit is not intended for beneficiaries of government payor programs, including Medicare and Medicaid.

4. Do I need to be an Amazon Prime member to use One Medical Pay-per-visit?

   No. One Medical Pay-per-visit is available to Prime and non-Prime members for a flat, out-of-pocket fee of $29 for a message-only visit (not available in all states for all conditions) or $49 for a video visit.

5. Does One Medical Pay-per-visit accept health insurance?

   No, If you’re using Pay-per-visit, you pay an upfront, out-of-pocket fee for your telehealth treatment. Pay-per-visit does not accept insurance for one-time virtual visits.

6. Can I use my FSA/HSA card to pay for Pay-per-visit?

   Yes. You can pay with your FSA/HSA card.

7. Do I need to download the One Medical app or create a One Medical account to use One Medical Pay-per-visit?

   No, you cannot access Pay-per-visit via the One Medical app and therefore, do not need to download the One Medical app or create a One Medical account. To access Pay-per-visit https://health.amazon.com/onemedical/ppv.

8. Do I need an appointment for One Medical Pay-per-visit?

   No. You can start a one-time virtual visit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You don’t need to make an appointment.

9. Can I get treatment if I’m temporarily in another country?

   No. One Medical is only available in the US.

10. Can I contact my provider after I get my Pay-per-visit treatment plan?

    Yes. You can ask follow-up questions about your visit at no additional cost for 14 days. Just ask your question through the Pay-per-visit message center and a provider will get back to you.

11. What is One Medical Membership?

    Membership includes personal services that enhance your healthcare experience, tools to facilitate access to healthcare services, and certain on-demand telehealth services that are typically not covered by or billed to insurance.

    As part of your Membership, you receive access to our app where you can:

    • Send and receive secure messages with member support specialists and your care team
    • Easily access your health records and care plans
    • Request prescription refills and renewals
    • Book billable in-person Office Visits or virtual Remote Visits in states where we have offices
    • Office Visits: Scheduled, in-office appointments with your primary care provider or a provider of your choice that are billed to you/your insurance. Copays and deductibles apply when billed to insurance.
    • Remote Visits: Scheduled, virtual appointments with your primary care provider or a provider of your choice that are billed to you/your insurance. Copays and deductibles apply when billed to insurance.

    • For both Treat Me Now and Urgent Video Chat, your provider may recommend an Office Visit or Remote Visit based on your clinical need.

12. How much does a One Medical Membership cost?

    A One Medical Membership can be purchased by Prime members for $9/mo or $99/yr for the first member and $6/mo or $66/yr for each additional family member (up to five additional members). If you're not a Prime member, One Medical Memberships are available for $199/yr.

13. I have a One Medical Membership. Do I now have to use Pay-per-visit for telehealth services?

    No. The One Medical Membership benefits and experience remain unchanged and separate from Pay-per-visit. One Medical members continue to receive 24/7 on-demand virtual care through the One Medical app at no extra cost.

14. Does One Medical Membership accept health insurance?

    The One Medical Membership fee is not covered by insurance, but we can bill your insurance for scheduled visits, whether you’re seeing a provider in-office or remotely. One Medical accepts most major health insurance plans for scheduled visits. Learn more about insurances One Medical accepts.

15. I’m not a Prime Member. Can I still purchase a One Medical Membership and/or use One Medical Pay-per-visit?

16. Is One Medical Membership and One Medical Pay-per-visit available for kids?

    Yes, One Medical offers Pediatric Services (newborn - 17 years old) in several of our office locations. Please visit our locations page to find out if we have a Pediatric office location near you. At this time, Pay-per-visit is only available for US-based patients between the ages of 18 and 64.

17. Is One Medical Membership and One Medical Pay-per-visit available for seniors?

    One Medical provides comprehensive primary care for seniors on Medicare who can receive care in-person. Learn more about One Medical's primary care for seniors. At this time, Pay-per-visit is only available for US-based patients between the ages of 18 and 64.

18. I only have Medicaid. Can I receive care from Amazon One Medical?

    Except for residents of Washington, DC, One Medical Membership cannot care for individuals only on Medicaid. At this time, Pay-per-visit is not intended for those on Medicaid.
