"Demeo," a popular role-playing game that mixes augmented and virtual reality, is reportedly now available in the visionOS App Store for Apple Vision Pro headset.

"Demeo" is a cooperative cross-platform game that can accommodate four players. It is said to capture the essence of the magic and friendship that come from gathering around a tabletop with friends to confront evil forces.

You have four heroes, each with unique powers. The game's unique gameplay fuses augmented and virtual reality, allowing players to feel they are part of the game.

"Demeo" was first released in 2021 for Oculus Quest. In 2023, it was transferred to the PlayStation VR 2 and the PlayStation 5. Apple Vision Pro owners can now play the game as well.

There are two different modes available to players. One opens the game in a 2D window so you may play with friends while multitasking. The other is a fully immersive mode that takes advantage of Vision Pro's capabilities in virtual reality.

"Demeo" works with game controllers and hand tracking, so gamers can pick what works best for them.

International Release of Apple Vision Pro

While new applications continue to drop for the Vision Pro, the latest Apple headset was also recently reported to be launched outside the United States after June 14.

According to reports, Apple has started training sessions for hundreds of staff members from its global stores in anticipation of the rollout internationally. These up-to-four-day seminars, held in Cupertino, California, provide staff with the knowledge and skills to effectively demonstrate the Vision Pro to customers.

The Vision Pro, hailed as Apple's most important product breakthrough in years, is anticipated to be a leader in spatial computing, blending virtual content seamlessly with real-world surroundings.

The Vision Pro has thus far remained a niche product because of its high price point and limited application ecosystem despite its groundbreaking technology. After the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), the iPhone manufacturer reportedly intends to introduce the Vision Pro in foreign regions to capitalize on new market opportunities.

Training sessions concentrate on key markets like South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Germany, France, Japan, and China. However, details regarding the rollout remain under wraps. According to some reports, the VR headset will be launched outside the US after WWDC 2024, which will take place from June 10 to 14.

Efforts of Apple to Boost Vision Pro Sales

Apple should address shifting consumer preferences, a lackluster market for the Vision Pro, and competition from unofficial resellers. To increase sales, the company has stepped up its marketing and looked for ways to lower the device's price without sacrificing the quality.

Apple expects the June release of the second edition of its visionOS operating system to spark a possible increase in demand. In addition, there are talks in progress about releasing a less expensive model to increase the accessibility of the Vision Pro.
