As the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 is right around the corner, the talks behind Apple's foray into AI are growing, with the event set to answer the rousing questions of the public.
From iOS 18 down to different integrations for Apple in the iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and its other apps and services, AI will play a massive role in new developments according to earlier analyses.
Apple Intelligence Will Be Cupertino's Take on AI

Gurman said that this "redefines the term AI," should Apple use it, and it would feature Cupertino's development of the technology, alongside the rumored OpenAI collaboration that will integrate its advancements.
Apple Intelligence will also help power its different features and tech that already offers AI, with Siri getting a spotlight this WWDC 2024 for a massive revamp.

The report noted that Apple Intelligence will focus more on the broad spectrum of artificial intelligence and not what others have delivered which focuses more on generative AI. It was regarded to be more "practical" in a sense, centering on both on-device and cloud-based artificial intelligence experiences available on the eligible devices, with WWDC unveiling it.

The upcoming WWDC 2024 is one of the most talked about Apple events in its history, and this is because this will deliver Cupertino's first take on generative artificial intelligence, the tech that already took over the industry. It is believed that these AI features will be most prominent on iOS 18, an operating system that is shared between the iPhone and iPad.
Apart from the self-made AI features from Apple coming to its different systems, there would also be a rumored integration of OpenAI's GPT, the tech that powers ChatGPT, for the different OS. More recently, OpenAI's release of GPT-4o was rumored to be a massive part of iOS 18's offers that would be revealed at WWDC, marking the first Apple and OpenAI collaboration.
The upcoming Apple WWDC 2024 event will take place next week, from June 10 to 14, to deliver the latest developments from the company for its systems, experiences, and apps. However, the public will look closely at Cupertino's take on AI and what they have to show for it, with Apple Intelligence being its name, redefining the technology yet again.
