Apple Vision Pro Upgrades

Speaking to the crowds at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that the wearable headset gadget has been updated with brand-new spatial experiences that defy imagination.

According to Apple, the Vision Pro can operate on a single charge for two hours and be adjusted to a tailored and exact fit, ensuring that the audio remains near the user's ears. The popular device, made from recyclable materials, will receive a significant upgrade this fall with visionOS 2.

According to Apple, the free software update will provide users with even more ways to engage with spatial computing, such as converting photos into 3D experiences, using more natural hand gestures, enhancing features for Mac Virtual Display, Travel Mode, and Guest User, and improving Mindfulness, Safari, and the Apple TV app.

New 'Apple Intelligence' Tech Launched

During WWDC24, the iPhone maker announced many new products and software, but its biggest one was the introduction of new Apple Intelligence technology, which helps the iPhone understand languages and visuals and behave in context.

The tech giant said this new "personal intelligence system" will be integrated across all Apple devices running iOS 18. In smart concentration mode, a new notification system prioritizes key notifications and hides others.

Apple Intelligence can summarize lengthy passages and generate smart mail responses without typing. Moreover, writing features in Notes, Mail, Pages, and third-party apps can also help users write correctly and reduce errors.

Using device photographs, Apple Intelligence creates AI-generated graphics with varied styles. These will be used as overlays for messages and independent applications in a new image playground. Additionally, third-party developers can use this functionality.

This AI initiative of Apple has also improved Siri with new actions and a screen-clearing interface. App Intents lets Siri make more complicated multi-step queries to discover files, show photographs, and conduct activities across applications.

A new AI-powered cleaning tool also improves photo editing in Photos, and users can better explore their collection, including video experiences.
