Dr. Sheinkop's BackGround and Medical Career

Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Sheinkop attended the University of Illinois for his undergraduate studies. He completed his medical training at Chicago Medical School and a residency at Northwestern University. His career has taken him worldwide as a surgeon and visiting lecturer, with notable stops in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Istanbul, Hungary, Switzerland, Poland, Russia, Romania, and Austria. 

He has authored over 70 works in esteemed publications and peer-reviewed journals, establishing himself as a leading orthopedics and regenerative medicine authority.

Reflecting on his journey, Dr. Sheinkop said, "My success in medicine stems from a strong work ethic, some luck, and seizing opportunities. I chose orthopedics during the Vietnam era due to the high demand for that specialty."

Sheinkop served in the United States Air Force Reserve as a first lieutenant and captain in the Medical Corps. He currently lives in Chicago with his wife of 56 years, Sharon.
